I reached out to Sheri at Sheri's Pet Watch, we met in person and she went over all the particulars. I hired her service for a 30-minute visit at $20.00 per visit. This service was going to be 3 days a week in which the 30 minutes would include backyard play (weather permitting) or indoors a refresh of her water and giving Luna her afternoon treat snack. Sheri really began the 3 days a week of pet sitting beginning February 1st, 2021 due to my work schedule changing to working from home due to the Covid Pandemic. In late September 2021 I installed house camera's both inside and out because of the homeless population in my area and theft. The first Wednesday after the cameras were installed and Sheri's visit day, I received a message that there was motion inside the house, I looked and Sheri had just arrived and she took Luna out to the backyard. A minute later I received a motion alert again and Sheri was back inside with Luna, I thought well that's odd, it's a beautiful day and they are back in already. I watched as Sheri sat in a chair giving Luna her treats, then I watched her leave the house. She was there 10 minutes tops. The same thing happened the following day. I can't tell you how disappointed I was that this was happening. My daughter and I spoke and decided this was probably a one off and scheduled Sheri for the following week, keep in mind Sheri had been pet sitting Luna 8 months by now. The following week the routine was the same, she stayed 10 minutes and the following day only 6 minutes. My daughter contacted Sheri about the short visits for the last couple of weeks and told her that her services were no longer needed. Who knows how long this had been going on for, at $20.00 for 10 minutes, that's $120.00 an hour, at 6 minutes it's $200.00 an hour, my kind of money. Sheri said that she had some family issues that were requiring her to cut her visits short, and that all Luna wanted was her treats. I am not buying that story, if you are having family issues that keep you from performing your job, then tell me and let's work out a new payment plan, instead she said nothing and soaked me for a full payment and stayed a third of the time. Luna is a dog, let's not blame the dog for your unethical behavior. I trusted Sheri, and trusted she was abiding by our agreement and fulfilling your 30-minute paid obligation to Luna. It was so sad to see Luna get all excited when Sheri came in just to have her leave 10 minutes later, Luna's little tail was still wagging as she left, made me want to cry. It's amazing what people will do when they think no one is watching. So, in closing, I do not recommend Sheri's Pet Watch as my experience was less that favorable. I feel ripped off and so does Luna.

They were very clear on the terms of agreement. They have showed up every time I asked even when the schedule is full they figured out a way to get me in. They have this great app that sends you notification when the walk is finished. It tells you how far the dogs walked, and the walker makes note of if they went to the bathroom or had treats. They also take pictures of the dogs and send them to you. When I was gone on vacation, it was such a treat to get the emails and text messages and see that my pups were being well taken care of. I highly recommend this company.

We live over an hour from the kennel but have loved the facility and all of its amazing staff so much we refuse to even attempt anything closer. We have used Blue Ridge for both training (field and obedience) as well as just basic boarding many of times now. The quality of genuine care, attentiveness and communication from staff has been above and beyond! The love for the dogs is felt instantly and radiates when you are greeted by Rebecca and Caitlin in the office/kennel. Dropping your pup off for any length of time in never easy, yet somehow they've melted away any of those hard feeling and both our dogs absolutely love them! The expertise, patience and professionalism from Steve and the rest of the team in the field/obedience work has been incomparable! Everyone truly takes the time to get to know you and your dog, and works as a team to make sure both your dog and yourself are on the best path to success. I forgot to bring my dogfood back and Rebecca was kind enough to drop it off at my house when she was in town. The online reservation system makes things really easy. Near the freeway, it makes drop offs en route to the airport easy.

It was clear that she was the right fit. My husband was about to deploy, we have a 9 month old baby, and I needed somewhere I could trust to leave our pup for a month while I got used to taking care of the baby alone. She provided updates often and his training was going well! I was supposed to be getting Griffey back soon when she called to tell me he had some hot spots. They worsened, he wouldn't leave them alone, and she needed to get him to the vet. She ended up taking him to her vet since ours wasn't able to see him quick enough. She kept him for a few extra days while he was on medication/healing. She cares so much about Griffey and his health/well being. It was a breath of fresh air that she was so intent on getting him 100% trained to our wishes that she kept him a few extra days (no charge) to make sure he could heal but also continue to get some additional training. I've got Griffey back now and he's much more calm and obedient. I couldn't be happier. Ruff Pup truly went above and beyond for us. She could have easily dropped his hot spot problem on me and sent him home from training. Instead, she personally saw to his healing and continued training. She has our business forever. I loved learning from her so much I kept up training sessions whenever I could, but also had the resources after training to be able to work on it alone. Her invaluable knowledge and belief in me learning how to train Mamba laid a foundation of trust that I cannot thank her enough for. Five years later and Mamba still loves staying with Samantha and I have the tools to keep teaching my old dog new tricks, and I am, in fact, a well trained dog person.
