From the very beginning, her communication was exceptional. She was prompt, professional, and incredibly transparent about pricing, and she took the time to share design options so I had a clear understanding of her style and range. She also provided thoughtful guidance on timing, which was invaluable during such a busy and detail-heavy time. A truly unforgettable, soul-shifting experience…read more Working with Renu was one of the most meaningful spiritual experiences I've had in years. She has an incredible gift -- the kind that immediately makes you feel seen, grounded, and deeply connected. She worked with my daughter and me together, and then separately with my husband and me, and after each session we felt closer -- not just to each other, but spiritually aligned in a way that's hard to put into words. Life gets busy, noisy, and disconnected... and Renu gently brought that sense of spiritual connection back into our lives. I'm forever grateful for that. She's also done grounding work with me that was powerful and calming in ways I didn't even realize I needed. Her presence alone is soothing -- warm, intuitive, and deeply intentional. And then there's her henna work, which is absolutely stunning. This is where things honestly felt magical. My daughter had saved a specific henna design on her Pinterest board for months -- almost a year -- and we never showed it to Renu. We never mentioned it. Without hesitation, Renu took my daughter's hand and drew the exact same design. It stopped us in our tracks. It felt like she was reading her energy, her thoughts, her spirit -- not just applying art. After the experience, my daughter immediately said she wants Renu to come to her birthday party -- she's convinced her friends would absolutely love a henna party, and honestly, she's right. Renu has a way of making the experience feel special, meaningful, and fun all at once -- perfect for kids, teens, and adults alike. Renu has a rare ability to connect intuitively, spiritually, and artistically all at once. Whether you're seeking healing, grounding, connection, or a truly unique experience for a birthday, gathering, or milestone, she creates something personal, beautiful, and unforgettable. If you're even considering booking her -- do it. You'll walk away feeling lighter, more connected, and deeply touched.

I had hired Ved to do the guest henna on the day of my Sangeet, but my bridal henna person ended up staying late, and having to do most of the guest henna (in addition to my bridal henna), due to Ved's unprofessionalism. He arrived more than 1 hour late, and once he did arrive, did a few hands of henna, but quickly took a "dinner break" shortly after his arrival. Once the singing started, he was busy mingling with my guests, socializing...even though many guests had not had their henna done yet. When asked to resume henna, he say "he'd much prefer to play the dholak with the singers! And could he please join them?" ...Seriously? Ved had a 2 hour minimum, but wanted to leave before that, falsely claiming that there were no more people wanting henna, when there were many people still awaiting henna. After all this he had the audacity to demand a gratuity! Overall, a disaster of a guest henna artist. While his henna work is actually good, his unprofessional attitude was a disaster. I wish I had not hired him.

I called Parm to try to set an appointment but ended up getting a text back to just show up. (Texting to communicate = win for introverted me!) When I arrived, another client before me was getting a henna tattoo so I ended up waiting maybe 10 minutes. When it was my turn, cleaning up my brows only took about 5 minutes. The wait was certainly worth it! We had little communication but I just made sure to let Parm know I wanted to have my brows cleaned up. The process hurt a bit and I was offered a tissue at the end for my teary eyes. It wasn't unbearable though and the end results look great! The shop is located at the corner of what looks like a deserted strip mall. Knowing that it's just Parm that works there makes my anxious mind less worried about who will be available to help me pretty up my brows. One thing to keep in mind is that it's currently cash only.
