Something for everyone! My mom and I found some really nice purses - the owner cleans and sanitizes them prior to selling. She also launders the clothes before putting them out for sale. I also got a trinket and picture frame. Terri, the owner, is so friendly! It's clear she cares about her business and her customers. I've been to this shop twice now and it's such a pleasure. I wish other small business owners in New Castle had their understanding of the importance of merchandising...the store is well laid out, and attractive. Their items are lovely--unlike some of the local junk stores that call themselves 'antique' stores. I frequently pop in because they get new things in regularly. I learned a lesson about this place: If you see something you like, get it. I waited a couple days before making a decision and the item I wanted was sold when I went back. When my folks moved here from out of town, I was able to furnish their entire apartment with beautiful *real* furniture from North Hill Antiques. Their prices are generally reasonable; some are out of my budget-zone...but, they seem to know the value of the pieces. And, they will deliver if you are nearby.
