I highly recommend Dewey Harmon. He knows his stuff and has experienced many of the appliance problems in his 30 years of experience. Not only what the problem is, given my issue, but also what is also likely to be a common problem in the future. He has experience in high end appliances that most others don't know how to fix. He has also worked warranty for many appliance manufacturers, so he knows the hidden and common problems. I felt he had my best interest at heart both when seeing what the problem was (and was not), what items needed to be fixed (and those not needed), and how he worked the actual repairs. He was courteous and caring. He was careful with items he removed from the refrigerator to protect them and also where they were placed. He explained everything he was doing and how things operated clearly and in a helpful manner. He was prompt, had everything he needed, kept the area clean, cleaned up everything as he went (even stuff behind the panels). I feel he only fixed what was wrong, avoided what was probably not the problem, and was open to me asking for other parts being replaced at the same time. The repair cost was very reasonable and a very good value. While he provided a 1 year warranty on the parts, unheard of by any other repair place, I think I'd be willing to pay him to replace it. I had been seeing Harmon's sign about Dunlap and inquired at Valley Electric since they work with most repair services in town. They gave Dewey a good recommendation, so I called them. My 14-year-old Kenmore electric oven was 60 degrees hotter than what I set it for. Dewey knew exactly what to do and even had to part on the truck with him. After calling we were on the schedule in a few days. His dispatcher kept us apprised of when he would arrive, and he was there when promised. Dewey and his helper took extra care to put covers on their shoes and they even vacuumed the normal accumulated dirt hiding under most stoves when they pulled it out to fix it. I believe I have found my permanent appliance repair man. I found Dewey's prices to be very reasonable and he is very pleasant to work with. I attempted DIY repair without success. I called Harmon's Appliance Service expecting to wait days for a repair call. I had Harmon Appliance services work on the washing machine and the Dryer. Washing machine would not remove water from the wash. Another company quoted me a new pump but would not guarantee it would work. I would have to run the drain spin cycle every time. Dewey fixed it by draining the catch reserve. The Dryer took forever to dry. He Cleaned out the lint from inside the dryer to outside the house. I highly recommend Harmon's appliance service You too will be pleased with his repairs read more
