Edmond was there helping a customer and said to give him 30 minutes. He finished up with the customer and fixed up my watch band! I paid him in silly resin chickens. SQUEE!!! Thank you so very muchness! I went to where we were supporting the local economy (shopping for souvenirs at another small business) and they agreed that Edmond is awesome. I love that the shop owners know each other and support each other. What an awesome community! I highly recommend! Go here! * jumping around happily *

These guys made it happen by modifying a similar blank until there was no difference. Tried the key this morning and it worked first time. Fantastic ability and attitude to problem solving. Will definitely use again. They do great job in fixing shoes, engraving and key cutting too. Well done guys. Keep it up! you're the best cobblers in Galway.

Ann was the woman that greeted us around 10:30 that morning and had our 10 lbs of laundry clean and nicely folded just before closing around 5:45. We spent around 24 euros for all of that laundry which was amazing considering the prices that our hotel was going to charge. Great experience for those who want clean clothes but don't want to waste their time in a laundromat. This allows you to enjoy your time and have clean laundry!

The Trek 520s were a very nice bike for what we were doing. Water proof panniers for our gear was a nice free bonus. Lodging selections were perfect and they were flexible with our preferences. Our transport to the starting point was great. The not so good: One of bikes suffered a front brake mechanical leaving us to unhook the front brake and complete most of the ride without a front brake. Not really the fault of West Ireland Cycling, as it checked out fine before we left. The staff did follow up with us and make every effort to accommodate us - so this really isn't that bad or their fault. Overall, we would use WIC over and over again.

I emailed the shop a few weeks back to ask about availability and John promptly responded and was so helpful! We made it to the shop today and John had two bikes and a child seat waiting for us. He helped us find a nice route to ride and we had a great time. The shop is a really quick walk from Eyre Square too. I would definitely recommend renting bikes from there during your stay in Galway!

First world problem: What does one do about laundry on a long vacation? Do you:…read more 1. Pack for the entire trip, not do any laundry, and face the end of the adventure with a huge bag of stinking close and a date with the washer and dryer upon coming home? 2. Have a willing (and available) friend/relative do the deed? 5. The ever nebulous "Other"? While we were still in Dublin, I had looked into the hotel's valet service, but at about E6 for a pair of socks, I elected to continue my search. Upon arriving at Galway, we consulted the internet, found the Launderland just a block away, and found that they washed and dried up to 7.5KG for E10. Sounds like a deal. As we had a full day planned, I moseyed over when they opened with my bag, inquired what needed to be done (which was essentially come back and collect, and of course, pay). Couldn't be more simple. I returned near closing time after our long day trudging the streets of Galway, presented my ticket, and received everything we had given the establishment, and nothing more. As promised, clothes were clean, dry, and neat.
