I know most people only bother to post a review when they are unhappy, And I have been in countless HD dealerships across the country don't always have a good experience, but the Bowling Green store is outstanding. I spoke with Stefany on a Friday, rode down to Bowling Green and I was so pleased at the positive energy of the entire staff. I was greeted promptly, they had the motorcycle I was interested in ready, we did some paperwork, I spoke with several people in different departments and they were all very professional and very helpful. Joe performed a complete walk around of the motorcycle explaining the features and answering all my questions, Tanner in financing made everything quick and easy. I just can't say enough about how impressed I am with everything. Drove quite a distance to get there. Went by their advertised hours were they still weren't open almost an hour past advertised hours, plenty of salesman standing by the door, but no one would let you in. If you don't open until an hour later, that's fine but update your hours online, bad business. read more

I was on a multi-state road trip from San Diego, traveling on south from Ohio on I-65, when my front brakes felt spongy and i was also nearing my 15k service. I was going to wait until I got to Nashville to get all the services done, but my front brakes felt so bad and I didn't want to chance it. I saw a Harley Dealership to the east of the interstate, so I thought I gave it a try. Being that it was nearing 1:30 PM, I didn't think I had a chance of getting it done. When I got to the service desk, I told Caleb that I was traveling. He made sure my bike not only got the brake system flushed, but got the 15k maintenance completed. Very friendly! Of course our weekend in Bowling Green would not be complete without stopping at the local Harley dealer. Nice selection of motorcycles. I was really impressed with how friendly the staff was and not pushy at all like other dealerships. We were greeted and chatted up a little but other than that we were left alone to just browse around and enjoy spending some time looking at the motorcycles and the apparel. The sales lady in clothing section was very helpful when I asked about the weather gear. Thanks for the enjoyable visit and definitely would stop back again. read more

These guys are fabulous! I was traveling from Chicago to Nashville over Memorial Day (2019) and had a rear brake emergency on Sat. at 7P (when they were closed). I overnighted in Bowling Green and then arrived a bit before noon the following day (Sunday of Memorial Day holiday), and Thomas addressed the issue immediately having a tech remove my rear caliper right there at the service dock and removing the embedded debris which was keeping my brakes from working properly. I was in and out in under 30 minutes (on a holiday weekend) and are you ready for this, NO COST!! I could never of anticipated that kind of customer service. That kind of responsiveness is one of the main reasons I plan my routes and visit Harley dealers when I travel!! THANK YOU BGHD!! read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM Harley-Davidson Bowling Green!!! I purchased my bike March 31 with the understanding it was serviced, had a beautiful 2 in 1 flex pipe muffler, the boom system that was purchased was placed on and was paid off!!! Hey guess what?!?!? The bike WAS NOT serviced!! The muffler WAS NOT flex pipe ( IT WAS RUSTED THROUGH WITH A COVER ON IT)!!! The Boom system purchased wasn't put on, instead an 80$ Boss system was! AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY SOLD ME A BIKE THAT HAD A LEIN ON IT FROM WHERE THEY OWED MONEY ON IT!!! 2 months later I'm still getting the run around and can't even drive the damn thing!!!! read more

Would not reccommend service department. Took my 2012 TriGlide in for 10K service. My first time in 40 years of owning Harleys that I went to a dealership for work. Always wrenched my own bikes. Took this one in because it had an extended warranty when I bought it used in 2015. Bike ran great and had no issues whatsoever when I took it in, just wanted servicing. One thing I might add, when they looked it up in the system they seemed pleased it had an ESP and asked me if they found anything covered under the warranty did I want it fixed. I told them to contact me first, but of course let's fix it. WOW, what a can of worms. Within an hour after I left I got a phone call and they told me it needed a stator, it was leaking. They said it was covered under warranty and I said yea fix it. Within another hour, they told me "both" spark plugs were stripped out??? And the heads needed replacing and would be covered under warranty. I had serious doubts about this and I asked who stripped them. Because I (again I've been wrenching bikes, and cars for 40+ years) had installed the plugs and they weren't stripped then. I thread all plugs in by hand and tighten at the end. He said Oh, they were the wrong plugs, the threads were wrong. I called BS and said I had been running those plugs for 5000 miles in the Triglide and in my 2000 Road King. He changed his story again and said well the threads were right and the plug was too long. Again I called BS and measured the length and it was 4 100th of an inch shorter. He then said well, sometimes when you back them out it pulls out the threads. So, story changed 3 times! They got the heads covered under the ESP. When I finally got to pick up my trike 10 days later, I noticed wires hanging down under my tank. It was the LED wires, which were factory HD lights, installed by a HD dealership. I said screw it, I'll tie them up at home, let me just get my bike out of here. I got home and realized the bone head that pulled my tank to fix the heads, didn't unplug the lights and just yanked the tank off breaking the connector to the LEDs. They didn't even attemp to tie any of the wires back up. Looked like crap! I was slightly pissed and called them up. They told me to bring it in and they would look at it. I did the next day and the service manager (Evan maybe 27-28 years old) came out and said it wasn't covered under warranty. I told him, what warranty.....You guys broke them! Fix them. He said they would fix them. Two hours later, my bike is "done". I still see wires hanging, but the lights work now. I get home, zip tie the wires up and look under the tank at the broken connector. "NOT" replaced, but barely plugged in and held up with electrical tape. What a jerry rig! I'm done with these unprofessional shade tree mechanics. Looking back now, I see what was done. They saw I had the ESP and wanted to drum up revenue ($$$). They stripped the plugs to generate work and income. I just got back from a trip that put over 4000 miles on the trike without any problems whatsoever. But now I have stripped plugs, bad stator, and oh yea, they said the sleeve in the rear cylinder was pressed in at an angle and needed to be replaced (under warranty of course). I now worry what else did they screw up. My ESP expires in March 2017 and I am already looking at getting a new contract just in case. This time through Discountesp, not Harley. I will "NEVER" go back to Bowling Green HD for anything. They are liars and unprofessional mechanics. Only good, Kelly at service desk was extremely nice. Service MGR and Service sucked. read more
