After reviewing.my needs with a handful of providers with good reviews, I chose Settler because my conversation with Nelson inspired confidence. As expected, I was pleased with all aspects of the process. What I did not expect, however, was that I would receive products and service that exceeded my lofty expectations at an extremely competitive price. Nelson was transparent throughout the process and helped me select high-quality equipment that met my specific needs while staying within my budget. I was also surprised by the level of operational support provided. Nelson showed me how to use all of the features, but he also set up a number of parameters in advance based on our original discussion without requiring further input. And that support did not stop once the products were installed and the final invoice issued. I am still receiving support on a regular basis. He informed me he had to leave another customer hanging in order to come take care of me. The second he walked in our home, he promised to get his manager to cut us a deal. An hour and $700 for two residential locks later, he left without getting us a deal and grossly overcharging us. We expected a deadbolt and door handle combo for two doors. He charged us $125 each for two deadbolts and two handles and never explained this until after the job was done. I could have gone to Home Depot, purchased the locks and YouTube Tubed this whole thing for $200. We definitely got taken!
