Steven from Roof Kings came out immediately and patched it, giving me options but was never pushy. I decided to file a claim with my insurance. Steven came back to meet with our adjuster so he could show him the damaged shingles he had gathered and share any information. In speaking with Steven, my husband and I just both got a sense that he was genuine and honest. (My google review has more details.) So long story short, we had a new roof one week from that day of our wind storm! Steven's team was amazing and proficient. I never shared what our insurance priced our replacement roof for and once I received estimates, Steven was right on point. Fair and honest. Look no further, this is a great, honest roofing company.

IMO this should tell you how I feel about their work! Darren was the onsite rep and was very responsive and kept me updated as the work progressed. Anyone who has worked with contractors understands that this can sometimes be challenging and doing so long-distance even more so. After shopping around I found their pricing to be reasonable and Darren was GREAT! We also needed some gutter work done and though Honey's didn't offer this service, Darren brought in someone else and served as my PM and things worked out perfectly! I would recommend not using this company after my recent experience…read more I contacted Honey's Roofing to re-attach 3 adjacent ridge shingles that had blown off my roof on a very windy day. The person who showed up the next day told me I also needed sealant around the shingles surrounding my vents and turbines, which in itself was not necessary. He wanted $450 for the job, which I told him was way too much---so he lowered his estimate to $300, which I again said was too much. He then lowered his estimate to $200 cash. I reluctantly agreed and the work was performed. Whether or not the work was performed properly is not readily known, since I don't get up on the roof. Be wary of this company. Their representative was about unethical as you can get.

They were late or did not show up at all more times than I can count, knowing that my husband and I were having to take off work to let them on the property. They busted holes in my wall while replacing the flooring that has never been fixed. When cutting holes in the ceiling to replace lighting, they cut the hole to big and even after trimming out the light, you can still see the holes. The CEO has refused to meet with us about these problems or finishing the work that the insurance paid to have done, yet he had no problem cashing all the checks. I have tried so many times to give these people the benifit of the doubt that they would be truthful and do what they were paid to do, but this is rediculous.

AmeTex had the shingles delivered to the property and placed directly on the top of the building, so that it was easy for the crew to get up there and do the work in a timely manner. Gus was respectful, his men did a fine job, and he communicated clearly. He sent a receipt even before I requested it for insurance purposes! Even though I am a property owner from out of town, and they could have taken advantage of this, they really did a good job for me.
