Following a hailstorm and after the insurance company had sent out an inspector and we had obtained one quote, we decided to get another quote. We called Chuck, and after he inspected the roof, he came to us and said that a new roof was not needed. He provided a detailed explanation, showing us many pictures. I called the insurance company and informed them that Chuck with All American Roofing stated we did not need to replace the roof. The insurance company guy said that in all his years, he had never had a contractor say that a roof did not need to be replaced after an inspector had deemed it necessary. The claim was canceled, and money was saved for both us and the insurance company because of Chuck's honesty. We will keep his contact information and refer him to others in the future.

Our experience to build garage and pavilion: Poorest…read morecontractor I have ever used while building three homes and related projects Fact listing: - contracted to build routine 26 x 30 garage and 16 x 24 pavilion - 9/23/16 gave deposit for start, he promised 8 week completion for both. Took 30 weeks to finally finish. - Days and even weeks of no-show, no-call. Myriad of excuses offered. - Felt he did work not paid for and caused combative relationship. I have signed contracts and full payments for all work. - Brocken could not finish the pavilion, used my stone mason, and did not pay him as agreed. - Delayed paying his garage door contractor who called me about filing lien on my property. - Intentionally damaged our cabinet doors while installing hardware, again felt not paid for. Repair was poor and unacceptable. - Offered no warranty after project completed. - Promised to send subcontractor releases, failed to comply. - I have repeatedly asked for contract documents on work he feels he did without being paid. He ignores my requests. - Now claims he never gave me a finish date which he feels excuses him for 30 weeks to complete 8 week or shorter project. I have two finish dates in writing (which he missed). - Repeatedly requested funds to buy materials (big no-no for contractor). I paid the lumber yard directly for cedar in the pavilion. - Dishonest. Used bait-and-switch paperwork to reduce his obligation. I caught one, paid him for the other. - Tried to quit the job prematurely (he was ahead on funds at that point) until I convinced him I would litigate it.
