Oh, Hardees, how you have come through AND let me down through the years. At one time you had the most delicious fast food chicken sandwich anywhere: peppery, breaded and fried white meat chicken breast. And at one time you had my favorite fast food burger: The Big Deluxe. You also bear the shame of the worst sandwich I have ever had: the Mushroom & Swiss. That tasted like a patty on a bun topped with vomit. Since the unholy union with Carls Jr (my very least favorite burger chain here in California) a few years back I haven't had many occasions to want to stop in when home for the holidays, with the exception of breakfast. The Loaded Omelete Biscuit is still pretty tasty, even though it seems that the biscuit is now coated with space-age polymers. read more

I highly recommend you eat literally anything else unless you like food prepared in unsanitary conditions make by hands that handle raw chicken and only rinse them before preparing the rest of the food. Genuinely disturbing knowing how many people are in danger of contracting salmonella because the employees don't want to take the extra minute to use antibacterial soap to scrub their hands. I get that it's not a hospital but a food establishment should practice about the same cleanliness and hygiene as one. The reason I'm weary of this particular Hardee's is because I worked there briefly but long enough to see their disgusting secrets. I went to the drive thru Thursday evening, July 18, 2019 and ordered a thick burger for my husband and a 10 piece chicken tender box for myself so that I would have lunch the next day. I got a couple of small to normal sized tenders but the rest were very small. All 10 'tenders' could have been eaten as one meal. Quite frankly giving this restaurant a 1 star is generous. Waited in the drive through for 45 minutes+! Guess they'll hire anyone now a days because the staff obviously couldn't function mentally or physically. We sat there looking at our food in the warmer for 20 minutes while the staff shuffled around at snails pace. Looking at how grotesque the kitchen and staff were had me questioning if i was gonna get food poisoning or not. This is isn't even the best part. The food was abysmal, as you could guess. Ok, so I started working at this establishment April-May 2020 and I have never been so disgusted at a job (and I've seen some nasty stuff) as I was at this one. 1st of all everything is covered in grease and the managers are in such a rush to leave at closing that nothing is properly cleaned per regulation, it smells off can't explain much further due to lack of knowledge on what it is, and employees on and off the clock are always sticking their bare hands in the fries that are meant for customers. 2nd it seemed like every employee was working independently and not as a team as in lots of confusion and hostility, lack of protection from cross contamination from raw chicken to literally everything they touch afterwards, and rude comments and behavior towards customers from managers was appalling. And 3rd I was under the impression that agreements made during the interview process were to be taken seriously but alas not with this corner cutting, penny pinching establishment. They agreed to hire me on a set wage that was agreed upon but not paid up, I had direct deposit for them but they claim my direct deposit wasn't working so they had a paper check for me and that I would have to bring in the 1 and only work shirt that was by this point stained in grease and other substances from this establishment otherwise they wouldn't pay me my final paycheck. Now the employee half is covered let's get on to the customer half shall we. Well I went back shortly after forfeiting my employment and was greeted with attitude and when I got my food the fries were haphazardly tossed in the bag and both mine and my girlfriends burgers were absolutely swimming in ketchup and mustard and clearly thrown together. I stopped in at Hardee's today and I am not a huge fan of fast food and everything that it entails. I am an amateur fitness philanthropist and have my cheat days when needed. I can honestly say this Hardee's had the freshest most delicious food I have have in a while. From a fast food restaurant. Everything on the menu looked appetizing and I didn't even know what to order because of it. The service was out of this world. A young employee named Pedro serviced me well and had my food out in not time. I give this place 4 out of 5 stars and I can definitely say I will be back in the future! read more
