The service is extremely slow. The workers are rude and disrespectful. They are more interested in their phones than their jobs.

I've pass this location many times and wondered why there was no business. Wow now I know why! I took a chance and had a taste for some chicken tenders. I waited for over 10 minutes only to get cold tenders. I don't understand the purpose of me waiting. I tried to contact the business but of course they can't answer the phone, I will never come to this Hardee's location again. Long wait cold food. read more

Not a favorite of ours. The staff are very slow moving and seem to always be horsing around in the back and not paying attention to the customers out front. Food is okay but nothing to rave about. Almost always out of chicken and don't seem to care. No wonder McDonald's next door is always busy and loaded with plenty of help. The franchise owners here need to step up their game, Hardee's has a good menu, and one time even better burgers than McDonald's. Owners should spend more time in this location and clean it up and look at their help and make changes. We only go here as a last resort if McDonald's is too busy. read more

Everytime I am in town in the mornings I tried to get a biscuit for then. one for lunch and a bunch to take home and put in the freezer for later. Whoever is making the biscuits is Godlike. The place needs a good cleaning though. I think they have the same booths and floor in that place that were there when I lived in town 30 years ago. I wonder how many farts those booths have soaked up over the decades?! Last time I was in I missed breakfast and got some chicken. This place sucks. I drive a truck that will not fit through their drive thru and the dining room is closed. I even parked where they could see my truck and they wouldn't let me come in and order my food to go. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

The food was hot and fresh. I got my order in a timely fashion. I was disappointed by the look of the outside. It looked like the outside had not been swept in weeks, there were spider webs around the drive thru window. I made sure to say a long, long prayer over my food because if the outside looks like this what does the inside look like? When I peeked in it looked okay for the little I could see from the window. I am visiting Fort Pickett, VA for training for the US Army. I have eaten at Hardee's about 3-4 times now. I must say I'm extremely disappointed in this location. The following is what I observed every time I ate there. I always go there to eat during the afternoon and evening between 4pm- 8pm. The trash is overflowing. They only just emptied the trash after we were there for about half an hour. Behind the counter and as far back into the kitchen I could see there was nothing but trash and food and grease all over the floor. The food is never fresh but hot, like they heated it up in a microwave. One time I asked for fries with no salt just so I could have fresh fries and the response was "we don't salt our fries." Meanwhile there's a salt shaker sitting on top of the fry bin as they said this to me. When they gave me my fries, they had salt on them. They had a big batch of chicken tenders on the warmer and when asked about them they said we didn't want them Cause they were a few hours old. They also told a couple customers they didn't have any regular chicken, they were out of it for the day. yet one of the cooks was in the back making some. One visit I watched a drive thru customer come inside complaining of fries that were not fresh. And tasted like they were a few hours old(hence why I asked for fries with no salt). The workers looked at him and laughed in his face. The customer was extremely patient which is more than I would have been if it was me. After they laughed at him they took his bag and proceeded to scoop up fries from a big batch of fries that were sitting in the fry bin. They were also not fresh because they were sitting there the whole time I was waiting in line to order and to receive my food. Which was approximately 20 minutes. These were the same fries they gave to me when I asked for fries with no salt. The workers there are not fast. They take they're time with everything with no sense of urgency. They put off the impression that we as customers are bothering or interrupting them if we come in to order food. They're on their phones while behind the counter and They eat the food they make without even trying to hide it. There is one cashier that even stuffs her face and walks on the front line in front of customers while chewing it and trying to take orders. The floors are nasty along with the restroom. The same trash that's in the restroom appears to be the same trash every time I have visited there. Back when I was in college I was a manager at a Hardee's while I went to college. I just can't believe the managers here allow this to happen and allow the store to be in the state that it is in. This hurts me personally because I really love Hardee's and it was alway a pleasure to work at Hardee's. The store I worked at we never would have allowed anything like this to occur. we had high work ethics back then and it is extremely lacking at this location. I'm not sure if this is a corporate or franchised location because they have no credentials posted anywhere public in the store. Something must be done about this store. My fiancé visited your Hardee's yesterday through the drive thru. He had a chicken sandwich. Upon eating the sandwich a couple of hours later he was vomiting profusely, he went to the doctors and told him it was food poisoning! GROSS!!! He and I will never eat here again!!! If this place worked any slower it would be moving backwards. When my order finally arrived 20 minutes later despite only 4 people in the shop and nobody in the drive-through line, it was bland and so flat that I at first thought someone sat on it. The "Big Bag" meal is a decent meal for the price. Workers were pleasant enough, although very distracted. They got an order that a tablemate placed mixed up with someone on the other side of the restaurant, which was an easy but avoidable fix. Never again. read more
