Both experiences have been excellent. Ryan and his crew consistently show up when they say they will, work hard, and are always friendly and respectful on-site. The guys on his crew are easy to talk to and very professional. I especially appreciate when the owner is there -- you can literally hear the job moving forward. He keeps things organized and makes sure everything is done the right way. During the siding project, a few unexpected issues came up that were caused by a previous contractor. Ryan's team handled every one of them without hesitation and fixed problems that weren't even theirs to fix. That level of integrity and workmanship is hard to find. Ryan and his team did a great job replacing our 20+ year old roof. He took time to explain both the GAF products and his installation process and the certifications and licensing his company has. They were able to do the tear off and replacement in a single day and were diligent about clean-up. I highly recommend Ryan Haley to repair and/or replace your roof. Several years ago Ryan came out and made repairs to our metal roof that was improperly installed by someone else. He did not try to talk us into getting a new roof at that time even knowing our situation. And we had to try to beg people to come and repair our roof. We had one company come out only never to return or respond to us again. I'm sure they didn't want to try to clean up someone else's mistakes, but they could have at least been up front with us. We finally found Ryan, and he made the repairs and was very honest and priced fairly. We appreciated him so much that when problems crept up several years later, we knew exactly who to call, and we did. This time we replaced the metal roof with an asphalt shingle roof, and it looks amazing. We feel secure now knowing that we have a roof that was installed properly and will last for well over a decade or more and that it is guaranteed. His team of guys especially Rick did a wonderful job in a very timely manner and one thing that is so important is his communication skills. Forgot to send estimate. Forgot what the job was. Forgot to return to look at it again. FORGET THEM!

I hired Ryan Haley, the owner, through a website called Thumbtack, looking for a fellow who could repair a tile roof. Ryan called. Nice guy. Said he had experience in tile roofs and could fix the leak. He quoted $1375, which I agreed to pay (and paid him in full). He went up on the roof, told me my roof was in terrible shape, whole thing needed to be replaced, but yes he could fix the leak. After replacing several tiles (which I believe he himself broke), he said the work was done. After the next rain the water came through worse than before. It had been wet with an occasional drip - now it was dripping both from the original leak in a vault ceiling, and now down the wall and over the door. A huge mess. I don't know what he did. He came back out - I'll give him credit for that - explained again how terrible my roof was, replaced a few more tiles. Nothing changed. By then I had figured it out and told him I didn't want him going back up there just to clomp around and break more tiles. A few months later someone gave me the name of a real roofer who came out, replaced some flashing - charged me $285 and I haven't had a problem since. When I complained to Haley that he had done me wrong, he called ME a "crook" for wanting some of my $1300 back. Basically Haley just isn't very competent. Maybe he can lay shingles, I don't know. But he represented he could fix my roof when he had no idea what he was doing. Worse, in my book, he fed me a bunch of baloney about my roof to try to get me either, i) to hire him for a bigger job, or, ii) to give him an excuse when his work failed - I'm going to bet I'm not his first unhappy customer. You need to watch out with Mr. Haley. read more
