For wrecking Chippers especially with the management that you have they have ! They are horrible and they talk about you behind your back, basically saying you do not know how to run a business and you shouldn't be doing it and you know what I agree with them that's the only smart thing dumb Doris ever said, they -had the health inspectors called on him many times ,he must be paying them off or they would not have passed!believe you me I know this for a fact !so I'm sure his grocery store is the same the only one thing that I can say the lady that works up front with the gray hair and glasses is the nicest lady I've ever met in my life she's clean she's friendly and she's courteous and always on the ball can't say that for the owner!!!!!!!!!

Who doesn't love a locally owned sandwich shop that actually makes it's food from scratch?…read more The above sums up Grant St Grocery well. As a former Bulldog like Hollie D, GSG was a hot spot for us in high school and the years beyond. Deli sandwiches on daily fresh baked bread, homemade soups, and of course, Thursday stuffed bread days. Stuffed Bread in itself should be considered it's own food group. Nothing better than a warm stuffed bread and soup on a cold winter day. Grant St Grocery is your typical Americana grocery store. It's off the beaten path, has it's steady stream of regular customers, and is well known to the locals. It's a must stop each time I am home for a visit, and you can't beat the friendliest that Cinda, the owner gives towards her customers.

Now if only my local grocery store would start selling the milk from Kilgus. I really do prefer drinking milk that is from a local farm from cows that are treated like animals should be. They also have lamb and bison meats and parts of cows and pigs that are less often used. They got a lot of things out in the display cases and freezers. If there's something you don't see or need specifically, they are beyond happy to help. In my case I needed soup bones and beef shank, both things they don't have out in the front of the store and I know I won't find In grocery stores. They fired up the saw and cut the bone down into sizable segments and trimmed the shank for me. I thanked them a ton since they definitely went out of their way for me I felt. I honestly didn't pay attention to the price, I was just happy I got all the ingredients I needed, in addition I picked up a pack of bacon cheddar burgers. Everything was ~$20 at the end, so not bad in my opinion.
