Beginning my experience at Moore's, everything appeared promising, the store had strong appeal and…read morethe initial customer service was great. Unfortunately, once their newly implemented systems came into play, the entire process took a severe downturn. The wedding party group setup, intended to ensure consistency and a stress‑free experience, instead became a source of repeated errors and wasted time. Moore's ultimately: Sold me an incorrect shirt colour, despite clear instructions and despite it being altered. Failed to include the vest in my group set during both the fitting and the purchase. Ignored multiple call‑back requests, leaving me to chase updates myself. Asked me to retrieve another groomsman's shirt to prove they had sold different items - after repeatedly insisting they should review order history to ensure the same SKU can be obtained for my size. Failure to disclose available credits on my account until I inquired why they were not being applied. These issues resulted in over six round trips to the store, hours spent trying to fix problems that were entirely theirs, and a subpar suit fit due to alterations made without proper vest considerations. What was supposed to cost around $700 escalated to nearly $1,000, not including fuel or time lost. To "remedy" the situation, I was offered a $50 credit, which doesn't even account for the shirt alteration charges that were never applied to the corrected shirt. In the end, the compensation amounted to roughly 3%, about $30, of the total cost, which doesn't come close to reflecting the inconvenience, the stress, or the repeated failures throughout this process.

When I asked him if he had a new air exchange system I was so impressed to hear that indeed they do! They put it in to help protect us all from COVID. It exchanges the air every minute and a half. I was so relieved Kudos to you Dr Dowhos and a big thank you from this retired Public Health Nurse! Kind regards, Donnas

Absolutely terrible dentist. I wouldn't let this man work on my dogs teeth let alone my families…read more He has a beautiful expensive office, which makes me wonder if he is overcompensating for his lack of skill. All this man cares about is money, and not what is in the best interest of the patient. He does unnecessary extractions because they pay more (especially for status) and also because he refuses to stand behind his work when fillings come out. He treats his staff like they are second class citizens- he talks down to them in front of patients and refers to them as unconfident single mothers. His hygienist has shaky hands and I seriously wonder if she is qualified to do her job. His assistant doesn't even have a high school diploma, let alone a dental assisting certificate (which is illegal) He hires random uneducated/unqualified employees so he won't have to pay for experienced employees. I would strongly suggest thinking twice before walking into this office!!

I looked and looked and the soonest anyone get help was 6 months out; not viable considering the public nature of my work, and the pain. My dentist (shout out to Dr. Bagley: woop woop) highly recommended Scott Family Dental. Despite the excellent word of mouth and high recommendation, my hopes were not high for a quick solution. However, that changed after a detailed discussion with the courteous, empathetic and so professional, Dr. Gyula Forgo. After that first visit, I was so relieved and happy; with the timeline, the cost and the procedure. They used the newest technology to scan my mouth, have an excellent reception team (who literally allowed me to dance with joy in front of them with no judgment), and they gave me a quick solution i could afford. They offered free followup for fitting, but i haven't needed that. The new partial dentures seem very sturdy (excellent material build) and fit perfectly (literally, no pain after an all day wear at work). Words fail to express my gratitude to all the professionals at Scott Family Dental; Thank you all, so much. In my book, Scott Family Dental is the best in Thunder Bay RMP
