I have been so pleased with the up-to-date equipment that is used at Harbourview. The office they use to have in Marathon had a travelling optometrist who had an extremely long waiting period because he only travelled to the community one to two days a month. When you stepping into the office it was like stepping back into the 80's. Moving my family to Thunder Bay to be assessed is a decision I am glad we made. I bring my children to Dr. Valente and I have been impressed with how he engages with my children and takes the time to be meticulous with their assessments. Working with young children is no easy task and he takes this challenge on with great enthusiasm and attention.

I stated " I cannot read…read morethe writing on your diploma, other than where you obtained it" he responded in a rude tone with "obviously you can because you just read these letters". Vision is subjective, if I'm telling you I can't see, I can't see! Every little bit makes a difference because I get migraines and nauseas when I can't see. I Will NOT be returning to this specific optometrist, nor will I be suggesting him to anyone I know. Terrible bettlittling experience.
