Super friendly staff helped me book my appointment and gave me instructions on how to send his current medical records to them, all of which I did ahead of our appointment. When I arrived, during the COVID pandemic, they were asking people to call when they arrived and they would come out, check you in, and take your pet inside for their check-up. This seemed to work really well. I arrived and called, and Caleb came right out and made sure paperwork was all filled out. He took my little guy inside and within 5-10 minutes the vet was calling me with an update. Everything was super efficient and everyone was super nice. I received a follow-up email and I think I even got a phone call checking to make sure he was doing okay. SUPER HAPPY with the service, care and affordability.

This past fall, my wife took our dog in for her yearly check up and was kept in the waiting room for 45 minutes before being taken into a room. I then was left in the room for 35 minutes with no communication. After deciding to leave, I told the person at the check in desk what had happened and I was met with a halfhearted "ok." No apology, no offer to check on what had happened, nothing. This office has gone downhill ever since COVID hit. We will not be going back.

Never thought I'd be yelping about a vet, but this was so unique that I had to. Our english setter…read moreMaggie got sick and between blood work and ex rays it seemed she had an extremely infected uterus. She is ten years old and was still intact. Always a specimen of good health and vitality we decided that the chancy surgery was worth the risks. When Dr. Sarah opened her up she found the spleen was enormous and it looked like we were going to say goodbye to our girl. In a phone call (with the dog opened up on the operating table) I told her to go ahead and put Maggie down, since she thought it was for the best. Five minutes later she called me back and said that when she lifted the spleen to show her fellow care givers she noticed that the mass appeared to be contained and she thought there might be a chance to save Maggie. Again, I took her professional opinion and let her take the spleen as well as reproductive organs. A spleenectomie is a specialized surgery usually performed in grand rapids, but since she was open and on the table it was a risk that had to be taken. Since this operation usually involves blood transfusions and they don't carry blood at this hospital it was even more delicate. She woke from surgery, and when we took Maggie home she had a 25% chance of making it. By Monday we knew she had made it through. Dr Sarah was more like a sister than a doctor and treated our dog like a part of the family. She literally sat on the floor and talked to us in a very open, honest and informative way. It was clear that she cared deeply, as much for our feelings as for the health of our pet. Maggie continues to recover and is nearly back to normal, now three weeks after major surgery, and I know that it was because of the love of her family, prayer, and the loving, knowledgeable care of Dr Sarah.

I was told she had some tarter on her teeth and was ready for dental services. Elle has had her teeth cleaned by Dr Moore one other time. I was given an estimate which I took home and budgeted to have the cost covered. I took Elle this week and when I arrived was given a paper to sign with the financial information which was DOUBLE the original estimate. I brought it to the staffs attention. I must add I did not recognize even one of the staff. It appears they have all new staff. I was told by one staff member that, "You don't have to leave your pet here", not said in a kind way but more in a manner that she really didn't care if she provided the service or not. Elle did stay and did have her teeth cleaned but if you are looking for kind and caring staff members and an office that honors their written estimates this is not going to be the place for you.
