Visited a few weeks back and seemed more like a hangout place for owners and their friends, not very welcoming since I asked about Amalgam Comics and everyone stared at me like I was and idiot and talked amongst themselves without answering me. When I left the guy said I could call and make comic requests. When I did the guy answered the phone "hello". He didn't to seem to want to help me, and was rushing the convo. Unless your desperate for MTG play group, there's not much here especially in the way of comics. Best I can say is stop in and spend 5mins walking through what they have, after that no reason to go back.

I stopped in personally to see if they had any kites to take to the beach. Alas they did not, but they did have a ton of other fun stuff to browse. If you're in the area on vacation with family it's a delightful place to stop in and pick up some goodies for any kiddos in your party.

On the first visit my older son discovered they ACTUALLY HAD NEEDOHs and had to have one immediately. IYKYK but these are all the rage and have become coveted, limited, and extremely hard to find since going viral. On top of having them in stock, they were not priced as the viral sensations they are, and that made it easy to pick one up for him. He hasn't put it down since getting it, and I love to see it. Unfortunately it did spring a small leak due to a defect in the seam, so we're trying to figure out how to get it replaced by the company. On that same visit my littlest discovered a giant stuffed trout, that later in the trip would becoming his "soubeneer" from Michigan. He cuddled it all the way through airports and on planes on the way home, and hasn't slept a night without it since returning. Teeny Tiny Toy Store is doing this game right. Keep it up!

My favorite gifts to give for baby showers are those indestructible books that you can wash with water! They seem to be pretty popular and Hopscotch usually has several different titles from that series. The last time I visited in September 2021, the inventory had expanded quite a bit since I was in the previous year. They have lots of toys, games, apparel, bath and body products, and accessories for younger kids (newborn to about 5 I would say). I didn't notice many options for big kids (12+). I did notice that there are a lot of items in the store that I've never seen before, but I also don't regularly shop at other children's stores. I like that they stock locally made and sustainable items. I also like that you can shop on their website and pick up at the store! They offer curbside pickup, which is great for those not wanting to or unable to go inside. If you're buying a gift, they will bag it up with a cute flower and tag which is so helpful, especially when I sometimes am purchasing a gift on my way to the baby shower, ha!
