I've been going to this place since I graduated college in 2000. I've changed jobs 3 times over the years and them accepting my new work insurance has never been an issue which is always comforting. (I've had blue cross hmo, aetna hmo and cigna ppo)
I mean who wants to start a new job and have to run out and find a new primary care physician? Or if your employer changes carriers and you missed the memo causing panic when you realize your card is invalid and get a bill for the actual cost...(I was young, don't judge!) Don't worry, the chances are pretty good, you'll be covered since they accept most insurance.
There has never been a time when I haven't been able to see someone or get an antibiotic when I'm sick and need it. Dr. Carlson is smart, but if you throw a curve ball with symptoms he'll look up a few things while you are there to make sure he's thinking it through before ordering unnecessary tests or referring you out too quickly.
It's a small office with only 2 doctors, so you may want to call ahead to make sure they are accepting new patients. read more
