Hands down the worst frame shop in Norfolk- likely the whole Hampton Roads area. Pretty disappointing. Not only are all of the women who work here extremely rude and not personable at all, their customer service is waaaaay below what it should be for a "cute" "small" "gallery". I arranged to, and paid $$$ to have a very important piece of art framed, it was only after the glass CRACKED 2 months after being hung on my wall that we realized that our instructions to use "museum grade plastic" were completely ignored. Being upset, I called to have the frame fixed and was told-over the phone- that this was their mistake and they would fix the frame free of charge. I was ecstatic! 2 weeks later I receive a call that my frame had been fixed and that I owe the shop $$$ and, once more our instructions to use plexiglass were ignored (it was glass again). When I reminded the girl on the phone that this exchange was to be free of charge since it was their mistake in the first place, she told me I was incorrect and that I must of "misunderstood" and that she didn't have any "documentation" that it was to be free of charge! After going back and forth she yelled and cursed at me on the phone and then hung up on me!!!! When we called back, the owner of the shop ensured us that the girls working at her shop are "meek as mice" and would never do such a thing (I'm guessing that by "meek" she meant extremely rude, careless and nasty?) any arrangements that you make with them over the phone will NOT be taken into consideration, you will be overcharged and taken advantage of. I honestly would rather take my business to another town. If I could give half of a star I would. read more
