The problem is the inattentive staff who really don't care if you buy anything or not. We walked in and were basically ignored by all staff. Too busy on their phones and just standing around shooting the breeze. Felt awkward as soon as we entered because of this. Tried to strike up a conversation with one of the staff but was just meh. Was going to buy a suspension fork, crankshaft, and whatever else I could for my new bike build but we just left because it didn't feel like our business mattered. As much as I'd prefer to support a local business, I need that business to care just as much about me and its own business as I do. Sadly, I doubt we'll go back. No real reason to drive 25 to 30 minutes to be ignored. I can get the same level of customer service online since it was hands off, impersonal, and cold. Sad to have to leave such a bleak review because I was hoping to build a relationship with a bike shop near my new hometown.

Great prices but the selection is hit and miss. Some of the regular clothes look like they've been there for years. VERY talkative woman. Really really helpful. They told me that they could not do that because the music was copyrighted and I would have to download all of the music again. I was a little skeptical but they were insistent. I went in and noticed that only one program had been transferred over, but was not the right one. I happened to turn on my old one to show them what I needed. My older computer was completely wiped out and wouldn't even bring anything up. After I asked what happened to it, Ryan proceeded to yell that I had brought it in that way. Nick had turned it on when I brought it in. Then I asked to speak to the owner. Ryan continued with his attitude that the owner wasn't there, and he wasn't giving me his number. I told him I grew up with the owner. He went to get him. Then the owner got frustrated because I did not want to bring my only working computer in to them to try again. Then he started yelling and he and Ryan both stormed out. The owner did have someone call and apologize and say they would try and make it right, but it was such an unsettling experience, I would never go back in there alone. I would have never known until I got home that my old computer wasn't working if I hadn't turned it on there. They said I have brought my computers there for years, which I have. They have always put the programs on eventually, or I wouldn't have kept going back. Besides the yelling, the fact they never told me the computer wasn't working anymore was very disappointing. So they apologized, but it was such a bad experience that I will never set foot in that place again.

Especially, Brad, Gary, and the gentlemen that helped me today at the Beverly store. All of them, very professional and helpful. I've ALWAYS had a great experience with them until now. The reason I'm giving this review 2 stars and not 5, is because of the stores management. I recently bought a "high five" unit at the Murdoch store, and they were very busy, so I'm not bashing the employee, but they forgot to put in the coil for it, rendering it useless. I live a lot closer to the Beverly location, so I assumed; since they all have the same parent company, that they would exchange it for me since their organization were the ones that gave me an incomplete package. Especially with the previous experiences I've had with their staff. Easy Peesy right? Wrong!! The employee told me that he had to contact his boss (Andrew) to see if they can exchange it there at the store, vs me taking it back all the way to Parkersburg and back, and Andrew told him initially that I would have to go back to Parkersburg and it's not his problem (I can hear him over the phone saying this). I explained to the employee my justification and that I would like to personally talk to Andrew, and the employee called Andrew again, and the employee asked Andrew if I could speak with him in regards to the exchange, and Andrew said, it's not my problem, I'm not talking to him and you can call Danny the owner. The employee tried multiple times to contact the owner, to no avail, and he even told Andrew this, but apparently Andrew isn't concerned about his organization or it's customers. Finally, the employee had to call the owners mom to ask for permission since Andrew left his employee flapping in the wind, and the other owner was unresponsive, which I understand it's a holiday weekend. No problem, I get it. Luckily the owner's mom saved me a few hours of driving, applied logic and common sense to an easy situation, and exchanged the item for me. If it wasn't for the excellent treatment by the employees and the owners mom, I'll be back. But I think someone should look into Andrew's organizational management skills. That's no way to treat your customers, and it's absolutely no way to treat your employees. You put that young man between a rock and a hard place, and DELIBERATELY would not diffuse the situation. You should be ashamed of yourself Andrew.
