Being a small business owner myself i see the value of helping one another and truth is that this ace always been my go to. But after today you guys have lost two customers which im not sure if you care about or not. But nonetheless we will be real specific here since this was completely unacceptable. Today Thursday April 9th at around 6:50 me and my business partner (current military member) came into the store last minute to buy some maintenance items for our landscaping company. We were about to check out and this older (lady) employee is checking us out. My partner asks if they offer military discount as i pull out my money to pay for the items (this is a business purchase we run finances together) the cashier proceeds to say "yes we do but only if the military member is paying" to which we both question the policy but nonetheless i proceed to give him the money and tell him to pay. The cashier refuses to complete said purchase and elaborates on the comment. "You know.. you shouldn't let people take advantage of you or your service" at this point we are both truly shocked as this is completely unnecessary. My partner being the one who asked for said discount informing her that he has served this country and he believes its disrespectful the way she has handled this interaction to which she responded "don't even start with that". We simply left the items and left because our desire was not to stir up anything or cause an argument. Nonetheless the comment made by this employee were truly uncalled for, unacceptable and if she was not happy to be at work that day she did not have to take that out on us. Have to do better if you care about your community.
