It's summer and I needed something for controlling the flies and I didn't want that old timey hanging tape. The folks at Westlake Hardware fixed me up! I got a fly stick - didn't even know there was such a thing! They have Everything! Paint, plants, patio things, lawn care, nuts, bolts, tools, rentals, and Fly Sticks! If you need it, they probably have it. AND...they are super nice! Stop in and support your locally owned hardware store!

A whole aisle of just chisels, tons of planes, saws, lathes, and cool turning tools I've never even heard of. I saw lots of different kinds of wood stock, and a bunch of cross cut slabs ready to go. So much more than that but there's a sample. I wasn't in there for anything in particular, just checking it out, but I overheard a few conversations with the staff, and they really know their stuff. They also hold classes there for people of all levels so you can learn how to use routers, lathes, scroll saws, or seemingly anything else you might want to use to shape wood. If you are thinking about starting a wood project, start here instead of a big box store, these people will give you some individual attention and help you find the right materials.

At All Seasons Building Supply, the gentleman there walked me through the store and gathered everything I needed in less than five minutes. In fact, the last store I visited before coming here told me to go to All Seasons because they were confident the staff would know exactly how to help, and they were right. I made it clear at every business that I didn't know what supplies were needed to get the job done, yet no one else could point me in the right direction. One store even tried to sell me a sign post for $540. Instead, I got everything I actually needed at All Seasons for just $55. I'll definitely be back.
