I placed an order an erroneously selected "Pick Up" rather than "Delivery"..... I have been charged $71 for an order that will now sit useless in a pick up bin in WVA; hundreds of miles away from me. I will not be picking up. I'm guessing, in a few weeks, someone may notice the package has remained and do 'something'. Regardless, I need these materials as soon as possible, but Menards useless contact information does nothing to help ameliorate this situation. How disappointing. It shipped from Hagerstown MD. It arrived at Monroe Ohio then sat for 5 days. When it finally shipped, it took 3 days to get from monroe to barboursville. Monroe is 2.5 hours away. It has now been 9 days and home depot can only state it hasnt arrived as of todays date 12-26-19. So it must be concluded that Home Depot cannot accurately schedule delivery dates and customers cannot rely on Home Depot to get large items to their customers in a timely fashion.

I have been a customer for years but just recently switched to Home Depot. Lowes did have a good veterans program but changed that to where Home Depot's is just as good. So why shop at Lowes when you get better service, better products, and the price is as good or better? Lowes needs to reevaluate what they want for customer experience or just close the doors.
