Affordable decent marina located 3-5 miles from town. Forget about walking or even riding your bike up to the grocery store or bar. There is absolutely nothing around this place. It's in a hole in the wall. Well protected from swell due to it being a harbor of refuge as well as because there is a Detroit Edison power plant next door where large freighters deliver coal and other supplies. If you just need a place to tuck in for the night, then stop here. The only reason for the deduction of stars is due to there being literally nothing nearby. I believe they do have a courtesy van available, but it wasn't there when I was. Small and friendly. The coast guard keeps their RIB in a slip here by the fuel dock.
