They have a furniture store (relatively new) as well as a Bargain Hunt. These are the two primary shopping places. In addition they have a Subway, Taste of Thailand as well as an Indian food place and Mexican food. Also, they have a place to get wings as well as a Little Caesar's Pizza. Plenty of parking, this place can get a little busy around lunch time with all of the food places to choose between. Once your done eating though, they do have a relatively high end jewelry store and a spot to grab some ice cream. For the size and number of stores there is a little bit of everything. If you're in the area it's worth swinging by to see if they have anything you may be interested in.

Sales begin on Saturday at a set price, and the price goes down each day. The trade off, of course, is you get the best selection on Saturdays, but the best prices at the end of the next week. So far, I have been only on a Wednesday and a Thursday. It was super picked over, and unfortunately, people take things out and throw them about while rummaging, so pieces are sometimes missing or broken. However, there are still some deals to be had even if you wait. My most recent purchases were a phone case and a silicone spatula set. Amazingly, both were still in the original packaging, and both sell for over $20 each on Amazon. Got them for $2 each.

My parents love this store, and so I figured we should stop by to see what all the rave was about. I would describe this as a Big Lots on steroids... much bigger and much more selection. But still random stuff that may be there this week, and gone the next and never to be seen again. We perused the aisles and took it all in. This store had everything from snacks and food, to flooring (hardwood), to home decor, to a HUGE lot of Alabama crockpots!!! (RTR). And this place was hopping for a Saturday night. I didn't get a chance to look at the lines to check-out, but there were certainly a lot of customers and employees in the store. Over time, competition from places like The Summit, the rise of online shopping, store closures (Sears, Rich's, Macy's and Belk Home and Kids), then the shootings in 2018 and 2020 led to a huge decline.For a while, it felt like the Galleria would not be able to recover. Well, now it's 2026, and the popularity of the Galleria is rising again. The mall feels brighter, cleaner and safer, due to improved management and security. It's a great spot to spend time indoors during AL's extreme heat, cold or rain (it offers covered parking too). Best of all, the iconic features remain, like the large American flag and classic carousel in the central atrium, and (best of all) Santa's workshop during the holiday season, and make it a fun alternative for young families and grandparents. So if you haven't been to the Galleria in a while, give it a try. It is worth a visit again.

I really like how orderly the shop appeared . This isn't a big place but it's full of nice items to browse. Reasonably priced. The shop didn't smell bad as some tend to smell.
