I have had no issues and I love the staff. They even had the fire truck come out and did a presentation with the kids.

We didn't enroll our kids here, because when we first moved here, we had a tour. I suppose the front desk lady was uninformed about it because it took her about 20 minutes to get out of the bathroom since we were there, waiting. When she took us around we silently made eye contact, our kids were not going there. We thought the name was pretty accurate, it looked like a barn. They had kids out in the sun in 115F weather while the adults hung out in the shade. Toddlers had full diapers and chased the teacher crying as boogers dripped down. The cots had crumbs of food on them? it was bad. I hope parents who enroll their kids here aren't fooled. At the time we wish it had worked out as we live pretty close. but nope, wasn't worth it. read more

I would like to declare this as 0 stars. Ariana is the director/owner. She is a tyrant and does not belong working with children. She tries to escalate the problem when you voice your concerns then she turns it around and tries to shame you for just questioning the care she provides. The teachers I dealt with were very kind. When I would speak to them. They would say things completely different than what Ariana was telling me about my son. So I am getting so many conflicting stories when I inquire from the director at Happy trails and her OWN staff. I would highly not recommend this place. From what I have read of other reviews. She tends to single people out to create her own chaos. read more

My son absolutely loves this place. He wants to go here and is always happy when we pick him up. We went to another daycare and they were horrible, at happy trails we had nothing but good experiences. The staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

I would rate zero stars if I was able to. I asked the local moms about this place and had many mixed reviews, but unfortunately had to give this place a chance as to it being the only place in my area that opened early enough for my work schedule. From the start this place was a joke, any time myself or my dad went to pick my daughter up there was never anyone up front to check ID or help with anything needed. My dad without knowing any teachers beforehand was able to walk in and take my daughter without being stopped, no ID check at all even though they have a "100% ID check policy" this should have been my first clue to get out but I was giving benefit of the doubt. Then we started getting notices that my daughter was being bit, and then that she was biting as well. She had never done this at home before, so we knew this to be learned behavior. I asked how to address this situation and all the response I received from anyone was "they just do this at this age" so I let it go and just continued to receive more and more notices as the weeks went by. I received a phone call one day in February, my daughter had been there since August of the previous year, asking what kind of milk she should be given even though I brought doctors notes in at the very start, stating she had an allergy to cows milk and she should be given soy. They had that on file but after 7 months of her being there, they weren't sure?? I started having instances where I'd pick my daughter up and her diaper was full of poop. The poop had been sitting on her skin so long that it was dried, and her skin was breaking down. Two times in one week. I called and talked to the girl on staff at the front desk and she said she would address it with the teachers responsible but she couldn't understand how that happened as they check every child every hour and sign next to their name saying they were changed, and my daughter had been signed off. I have pictures of how bad the diapers were. The following week we had two more instances so naturally I complained again, but that fourth instance my daughters diaper was so full and smelled so bad it was RIDICULOUS!!! At that point it seems as if it's personal against her or myself because there's just no way you miss the same kid 4 consecutive times. After these complaints I received a phone call from the director saying a parent is pressing charges against the daycare due to all of the biting and because my child bit a few of those times I should withdraw her or they'd be investigating me too. I reminded her that I was told "kids just do it" every time I asked how to deal with the situation so how were they going to all of a sudden say I needed to withdraw her? Fast forward a few weeks while I'm trying to find somewhere else for my daughter the biting is slowing down, and they all of a sudden suspend her for the week. I asked them to have the director call me and she never did. Now this is where everything closes because of Covid-19 so the last two weeks I kept my child home with me but my caseworker was making the effort to reach out and tell the director I'm keeping my child home for now but never got ahold of her. I finally got a call after 3 weeks and she tells me she expelled my two year old because of the biting, said she left me a message over the phone about it weeks ago and told me about it in person, which is incorrect she never said anything about it to me, and have no voicemail. This place is completely unprofessional and I do not recommend, you'll definitely regret bringing your child here. read more

My kids came to Happy Trails after being kicked out of another daycare due to them being special needs and in a pinch Happy Trails took them at the height of the pandemic. My kids are both autistic and switching daycare was a real shock to them and a difficult change but they both blossomed there and have changed so much since attending. The staff is and has always been friendly, kind and patient with them and have given us help in terms of what type of social assistance programs were available to us as parent of kids with special needs. Ariana and her staff have treated my kids like they were there own and my kids love their classmates and teachers and somedays my son throws a fit when its time to leave. My kids were well taken care of and looked after and I never had an instance of doubt or concern when it came to their well being at Happy Trails, I wish I'd taken them to Happy Trails sooner. The facility is well run, well maintained, and the staff is wonderfully trained, my daughter is transitioning out of daycare now and we're heartbroken that her time there is nearly done, but we deeply appreciate everything Happy Trails has done for us. Your kids are in good hands. Cannot say enough good things about this place and it staff. read more

This is one of the worst daycare i have ever left my child in and will never will come back or recommend this place. Receptionist which seems to be one of the owners went in to sigh up my daughter did not acknowledge me was pretending to fill up some paper work. Waited for 10 min until she said ill be right with you. Once i pick up my daughter went in to room and saw the same lady yelling at one of the teacher in frunt of 2 year olds never going back in there again. read more

After a month there, I pulled my child out because there were too many issues going on. The classes are definitely old, dirty, and smelled of urine due to the dirty bathroom adjoining the classroom my child was in. Bathrooms were disgusting and unkempt. My child has been infected with the flu or cold every week he was there, which in turn infected my entire family. Teachers and aides are very impersonal - the person who I drop my child off with is never the same person he's with when he gets picked up. Younger aides are clearly there as "a job" and don't interact with the kids - just sit along a wall and let them play on their own. There's no daily report of how my child did in class, whether he ate or slept well, no idea how well he behaved. That is due in part because the classes are over run by children (30 kids at least, to two teachers). The tipping point was when 2 four year olds were observed UNATTENDED in a classroom, climbing on countertops and going through cabinets. After advising the director, ANOTHER four year old was caught roaming around the front reception/lobby area unattended because someone left the door ajar to the play yard. Entrusting your children in the care of a facility that allows such conditions is not for me, and I only hope that something terrible doesn't happen to any of the children there because of such negligence. read more

Our son absolutely loves attending Happy Trails, and we couldn't be happier. The staff is attentive and kind, and we have been very pleased with all of our interactions with everyone there. Our son started in the infant room when he was about 9 months old, and is now in the Ones. We get periodic reports about his development and things to work on with him, and he is always happy when we take him in. He has developed wonderful social skills, enjoys playtime, library time, and art. The staff knows the quirks of each child, and truly enjoys their work. Highly recommend! read more

I am very disappointed and upset with Happy Trails.This day care/preschool deserves no stars. I enrolled my 4 year old daughter for the 2-day full time schedule. This was my daughter's first time attending day care or preschool. She was so excited especially since she was going to make friends. On her second day of school after I picked her up, I asked my daughter how her day was. My daughter starting crying and told me a boy had punched her head during picture time. When I asked my daughter why she didn't tell the teacher she said the teacher told them they had to stay quiet. My heart was broken especially since I had asked the teacher how her behavior was (I still believe in children being respectful and good manners) Teacher had informed me she was well behaved and was a sweet girl. I called Happy Trails the following day which was a Friday. They told me the teacher nor director was not in. I let them know what was going on and told me she would let them know what happened and will get a call back on Monday. I received the phone call and was informed since she didn't tell the teacher and no one saw it, they could do nothing. I was told basically it was her fault for not saying anything. I let her know this was very unacceptable behavior. It's not right for any child to punch someone in the head and no one do anything about it. I also let her know I will not be taking her back especially when my daughter didn't want to go back. When I asked her about the annual fee I had just paid, (she only attended two days) I was told there was no way I was getting it back and good luck trying to get it back since I informed her I will be filing a claim. I was hung up on. This just breaks my heart to know this type of behavior from school directors and teachers are acceptable! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. At first everything seemed great with this preschool. We were living from out of state and the staff was very accommodating with ensuring my 2 children would have a spot. After the first 2 weeks, my youngest son told me that his teacher didn't let him have lunch or dinner because he was in trouble. HELL NO. I talked to the director and she told me that they had been having trouble with that particular staff member (I wish I remembered her name, but I am great at forgetting trash). I explained that I would not keep my kids in their care if that staff was around either of my children at all. She assured me that they wouldn't be. Then fast forward a few more weeks. I pick up both of my kids around 5:30 and ALL of the children were outside with NO staff supervising them. 3 kids were ON TOP of the roof of the play structure!!!!! I asked staff why no adults were outside and why they were all inside. They said that the kids are all ok and they can see them from the window. Meanwhile the adults were inside eating snacks and having a great time. The next morning I talked to the front desk lady and requested to speak with the director AGAIN and they said she was on vacation but I could leave her an email. I then stated I would be putting my kids on a "vacation" from the daycare until I could speak with the director about the behaviors of the staff. Which is a procedure they have in place so that you don't pay and the kids don't come for a certain amount of time. I tried speaking with the director for the next few weeks and she never responded to any of my emails. I left her my final email stating that my children would not be returning until I was comfortable with the environment that ALL of the kids were in while at Happy Trails. I never heard anything from that place UNTIL they sent me to collections. Still no phone calls regarding their staff. To this day I see their drivers driving kids to school while texting and swerving in and out of drop off zones. They will probably hit a kid and then sue the parents for letting the kid walk read more
