Milestones Preschool offers services for families with children ages 1-5 years of age who are seeking best practice through a developmentally appropriate learning environment. Milestones uses a Creative and Emergent Curriculum throughout, with a strong emphasis on a play and project-based approach to learning.
We encourage family involvement, community partnerships, and professional growth; Working with children, their families and their community is a passion that Milestones Preschool holds. Parents and family members are part their child's learning experience in the classroom and at home, ECE students who are working towards their CDA Credential are using the facility to meet required hands on teaching experience as AWC student volunteers. Milestones supports and encourages teaching staff to attend Arizona Western College as well as its partnering Universities as they move forward with their professional development as educators.

My name is Josie Garcia, I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 23 years. As an advocate for children I have seen the need for Early Learning and Preschool Centers that offer best practice through low ratios, play based observations and assessments, parent teacher conferences and most importantly with family involvement.
