It often has interesting window displays, for example a homage to a legendary Brighton drag queen featuring one of her dresses. Coming up to its 20th anniversary the Brighton Flea Market is a must see for any bargain hunters and Brighton bohos.

Well situated in a Marina village and you have access to so many other stores on the waterfront. There is car park charge, but if one parks in the Cineworld multi-storey, which is permissable, then it costs nothing. It does mean you have a bit of a walk but no trouble if you have/buy a shopping trolley.! The store is well laid out, bright, cheery and staff to match. Cheaper petrol on exit, or hang around and peruse the clothes, restaurants, shoe shops, jewellery and anything else you need. Filling your car up's expensive but it was never as expensive as this before was it. I mean at most usually a trip to the petrol station meant a cheeky Boost bar, or a Kinder Surprise for when your feeling a little bit crazy, but it didn't ever mean a super food salad, with fresh king prawns, or a large Sushi platter for around a fiver. In my experience, parents/elders/guardians/drivers become unusually generous around petrol stations, and always at least buy something there. My tip would be to lure whoever is your applicable person above, take them here, then just as they're paying for petrol throw down something ridiculously expensive and riduclously tasty onto the counter. They wont fail to buy it, and you'll all go home a happier, better person, I promise...

Aside from having a night life saving cash point outside, there's little to recommend about this particular all night corner store... Everything from Doritoes and Dr. Pepper to custard creams suffers from hugely unnecessary prices... Just planning to get to Sainsbury before it closes, or stretching your legs another two minutes down the road will lead you to a far more wallet friendly store... With Alcohol! The service is perfectly friendly, and the fact it seems to be open every minute of the day means you'll find yourself weaving reluctantly between the parked cars to enter the store on more than one occasion.

Whilst Googling M&A, to find out there phone number to add to my review for them, I was quite…read moresurprised to see that the first entry that I could find was a an anti-M&A Facebook group. To be fair the group hadn't had an entry since early 2008, but still I was intrigued by the active hatred that the workers in this cornershop had seemingly inspired, due to them being quite so 'grumpy' and 'rude'. I have often been standing in M&A in the early hours, whilst everything else has been closed, maybe a little drunk, indecisively hovering aound their shop deciding what to buy for what might seem like an eternity, and they have always been friendly and quite humorous in my experience. So I can only go on that, and assume either the students who made the group are over sensitive, or the workers of M&A had some massive customer service crackdown after the facebook fiasco. Anyway, the best thing about this convenience store, and the only reason why I have been in it, is the fact that it opens til later than other off licences, so affords you the luxury of continuing your drunkery until 3am. This fact is known to most in this area, and sometimes you can find yourself having non-sensical chats to other people who've made the very same pilgrimage as you, and the store can get quite busy for such a time. There is also notably a decent selection of magazines on offer.

For example, it recently provided me with a new bed frame for a mere £20, saving me the extra cost of shopping at a high street store. I recommend this place for students or for those not married about a bit of wear and tear. Its founding 'nothing-is-waste' philosophy is one that every community should adopt. Shabitat provides at least part of a model for sustainable living so in my opinion it's worth supporting.
