Mark (owner/photographer for Shagly) traveled to our home to work his magic. Magic it is. If you saw my barren, grass-less backyard. Once I saw his work I knew he was the one I wanted to photograph our "kids". First off Clarabel, a rescue and our youngest is not usually too keen on men. She becomes nervous and barky when males are around. Foxy isn't that big of a fan either but both of them warmed up to Mark immediately. He must be the dog whisperer of pet photographers. So that is a talent in itself.... Then there are his photos. My goodness. What beautiful work he does. Not only was he able to capture the personalities of our dogs but his editing skills are impeccable. Remember the dirt laden wasteland of my backyard? It looked like we were in another world... far far away! We now have our dogs not only forever in our hearts but forever in these beautiful photographs. (I hope that one day you are reading this Mark... Your art is SO appreciated by me and everyone else who's ever seen there pet immortalized through your amazing art work. THANK YOU!!)

Mark (the owner/photographer) made our expectation,s come true; we told him some of our ideas and Mark made them happen. He exceeded further with nothing less than catching our pet's action moves, still shots and their individual funny facial expression's. Mark's patience & love for photography helped tremendously due to our 400 lbs of active male dogs in total. Mark connected w/all 3 dogs & somehow made our photos of the 3 "rambunctious boys" appear as angels! Also, Surprise!!! ...Mark did not know that my boyfriend planned a surprise proposal during the photo session until minutes before my boyfriend proposed! Mark photographed/captured every moment in sequence of my now fiance's proposal. Mark did not miss a heart beat. One other point... tell Mark what you need/desire for your session from beginning to the end. He worked with our budget and in the end we received more happiness/satisfaction of our forever memories than we could have ever imagined! ( Still in doubt? check our his website and look up the "Czerwinski family" under his galleries. The proof is in the photos!) Thank you Mark!!!!!!!

Everyone is happy with how they turned out. Christie is easy to work with. She was professional, flexible with times and her prices are outstanding. We all had a wonderful time at her studio. We turned up a little early on a cold rainy day, and she had warm drinks and cookies waiting for us. We sat on nice comfy couches while she talked to us about backdrops and her vision for the shoot. She is friendly and puts you at ease right away. She worked it the whole time we were there- adjusting our postures, our body positions- or to fix a stray hair. She was a real perfectionist, but we're glad, because the photos are just beautiful.

It's a plain looking building with a blue door, kinda in the middle of nowhere. Once inside though you are welcomed to a world of numerous little piggies, rabbits, and a couple other little animals. The guinea pigs all live in pairs of two with large boxes and plenty of hay. They are well fed, compassionately cared for, and given love. There are so many cute little guys, and some hairless ones that I'm sure someone thinks are cute. You can tell the workers care about their animals and will answer your questions honestly and in depth. They are definitely not trying to get rid of their animals just to make some money. We were looking for a class pet was told that you needed to buy two at a time because they need socialization. Unfortunately, class doesn't have room for two so we left empty handed, but enjoyed getting to hold and play with some of the piggies. My kids even got to feed some carrots. My daughters saw two cats online they wanted to go see, so I filled out the application the night before. It was pretty lengthy (not sure why I have to list my animals that have passed away). On one question, I indicated that our current cat will go on the patio with us - she stays outside less than an hour at a time and lays in the sun. But I also indicated that any new cat we adopted would be 100% indoors since that's our preference. They emailed me wanting clarification so we emailed back and forth with details. We thought we ended the conversation in a good place. The next day we went to look at the cats. After waiting forever with really no one welcoming us, my wife asked about our application. The lady was totally dismissive and disrespectful and said our application was denied because we have a cat that goes outside. My wife asked for clarification and explained that our other cat was inside 99% of the time and only ever on the patio with us - that it wouldn't be difficult to commit to indoor only for any new adoptions. The lady very rudely told her that we could not adopt ANY animals from them and basically asked us to leave. They didn't care to understand if we are a good pet family. They didn't watch how we interacted with the other kittens or care to know our story. They could have told us not to come at all since we had submitted the pre-work and they knew in advance. So we went to Operation Kindness where we got our last cat from and were welcomed with open arms. All in all, terrible experience with this group. We would recommend Operation Kindness or the SPCA instead if you are looking to adopt. This place and people there are rude and I will never recommend donating or adopting from them again.
