The owner did my dip nails and he was wonderful and friendly and the local women I spoke to while there were friendly and don't let the outside appearance fool you! I had a pedicure at happy nails and sadly my experience was not a happy one. Best part of my visit was talking to lady I sat beside (another customer). The man who did my nails cut my big toe cuticle with cuticle cutters and when I flinched and said ouch that hurt, he just looked at me!! Also, my toes were not dry and he messed up my other big toe when putting on my sandal. I would not recommend this place.,,it seemed very unsanitary and like they just want to get you in/out...not much time for relaxing but I did enjoy foot and calf rub and that was before the cuticle cut and polish damage. I will not return!! I still tipped but didn't truly want to leave one. read more

Made an appointment same day for 3pm. When I arrived they were ready to see me and started with my pedicure. Very relaxing and great massage chairs. Then on to dip manicure which was perfect! Never had a nail tech so skilled with cuticles. Definitely a great place. Highly recommend. read more

Was in Marfa for a wedding, no nail salons in Marfa so I pulled out my trusty Yelp app and ended up at Happy Nails. They were able to accommodate us as walk-ins but they do take appointments. Went in for a nail design fix on 2 fingers from another nail salon. Ken (Owner) the guy that sits at the first nail station cut my cuticle with the drill pretty bad and deep on my ring finger and this isn't the first time. He just put super glue on it, no liquid sanitizer to prevent infection and didn't even say sorry. My other ring finger was nicked too. He needs to pay attention to what he is doing, stop rushing to get to the next client or don't use a drill anymore. Don't go to this salon you will get cut. Go to Alpine Nails! read more

Great place for nails in Alpine! Multiple people recommended this place to my mom/sister. I went with my mom and sister while I was home for the holidays and got my first set of fake nails (I bite my nails and wanted to see how beautiful they could be if I stopped biting them). I knew nothing about fake nails so they explained the different shapes, maintenance/care, and removal. I've also never gotten gel polish and I'm surprised how beautiful and durable it is. My mom got a gel mani, enjoyed the friendlineas of the staff as well as the result (she is also suprised at how they've held up). My sister got a pedi and eye brow wax. They have a large selection of colors and good pricing. I'm in love with my nails (they were done well and I love the color) and wish I could back more often than once a year to get them done here. read more
