Through some investigation, I figured out the name of this restaurant. We all were looking forward to resting our feet and having lunch. I ordered the kofte lunch, with fries, rice, and veggies. I also got Turkish tea. Our meals came with desserts. The kofte was tasty and perfect. I wish that there were more fries and veggies. Otherwise, the meal was yummy. I fell in love with Turkish tea in Istanbul. The tea was perfect. The sweets were yummy, too. It wasn't overly sweet. The washrooms are upstairs. This restaurant may not be the best for folks who require accessibility access. The various glass lamps hanging from the ceiling are beautiful. I'm glad that we stopped here for lunch. I had a great time. (103)

This was our first meal in Istanbul and it did not disappoint. We got the mixed platter, testi kebab and a side of yogurt dip (delicious!). Testi kebab : lots of showmanship, ok flavor, I'd skip it unless you want a cool video. Mixed platter : chicken (kebabs and wings) were very nicely seasoned and had good char. I recommend getting those. The beef in Turkey in general has a weird funk that I did not care for so I was keen on getting anything with beef all that much. What really struck me was how good the lamb was. No funky smell, wonderful char and well seasoned (just good amount of salt, nothing complicated). I could polish off as entire plate of those lamb chops myself.

Unfortunately, we didn't realize that 1) we could only order the breakfast set since it was before 2pm and 2) how pricey it ended up being since each of us had to order it ~$30pp I believe. The overall selection didn't feel worth how much we were paying since most of it was cheese, spreads, and bread... Regardless, the presentation was stunning and the quality was overall great.

In addition to a wonderful outdoor cafe atmosphere on a street not overrun with people, the staff were very kind, warm, and highly attentive. Perhaps the star of the show was a black and white cat, one of so many that call Istanbul home. Cats and the many caring people who look after them have created an entire ecosystem in Istanbul that is the subject of many books, web channels and documentaries. This insightful little gentleman caught a glance at me from across the street then made his way across, hopped into my lap, and virtually fell asleep. The staff and other customers seemed to like this nearly as much as I did. What a fantastic way to have a calming meal with a great atmosphere and terrific food to match. Thank you very much for an enjoyable time.

The food tastes great and the table setting is very appealing. The restaurant itself is very cute. Reminds me a bit of Alice's tea cup in NYC but Turkish style. Tea is unlimited here and they have it on the table. It kinda made the table warm though. The grandmas at the front and working in the place are so cute and sweet spreading flowers and kisses to people coming in. They also offer you an assortment of jams when they see you're done eating. The waiter was extremely helpful as it was our first time and the whole crew are just on point. A must visit restaurant if you're visiting Istanbul and looking for a breakfast/brunch place.

Mevsim Salata - mixed greens, cabbage, cucumber, green onion, tomato, parsley (weird) and lemon. Like most Turkish outfits I learned, salad dressing is persona non grata but least there were some lemon slices. Effort is there for a well thought out seasonal salad. Patlican Kebap (Eggplant + meat) Mixed kabab with eggplant blocks and beef chunks. Tavuk Kanat (chicken wings) Probably the most "yummy" on the list here. It's got a different charred flavor - might be a little tumeric involved not totally sure but it's unique, and better than you're regular chicken wings. Karisik Kebap (combo mixed meat kebab) Packed with a lot of goodies here - gyro slices are on the dry and over salted side. There's more solid chicken wings and chicken kabab which is also very flavorful and tender. There's also a spiced sausage type of meat that is more crumbly but pretty good. All supported by orange couscous and two large peppers (not spicy) All the dishes come with a small fortune of lavash and they packed in a separate bag of more layers as well. Overall nice experience... that's all.
