I appreciate her candor, but as a patient, you should be confident in your approach with her too and make sure you get what you need. She's very thorough with bloodwork and explaining results, and it is SO nice to not have to go to a lab. She has put me on two different supplements in the last year and so far they have been helpful (as evidenced by bloodwork). I did receive a bill from the lab company on two different occasions, but Wanda in her office has been really great about taking care of that with my insurance. I also called Wanda recently to obtain a more detailed receipt for an FSA charge and she wanted to know, while she had me on the phone, if my insurance issue with the bloodwork was resolved. That was really sweet of her. I think the Yelp score here is being swayed by some who have had a bad experience. I've had good care with Dr. Kogan and will continue to see her as my GP. My only qualm is that I wish she took cards. I always forget to bring cash for my co-pay.

DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH DOCTOR KOGAN!!!!!…read more She's very unprofessional and unethical. It's all about the money. This visit was in May 19, 2015. My husband and I took off from work so that we could be seen by Doctor Kogan since she was our primary Doctor. I was being triple billed in her office and I questioned it with her receptionist Wanda. Doctor Kogan became very condensending towards me by stating that her facility is a private practice and not a medical center or a hospital. And if I don't agree with the billing I should leave. I guess she assumes I'm from a lower level lifestyle than her regular patients or more so her herself in the way she brushed me off and disregarded me. She must really think she's a Trump since she rents out a place in one of the Trump towers. She discriminated right away only because I wanted to understand the charges. I would had paid with no problem had I had those suspicious charges explained to me. Doctor Kogan also went on to mention that i was giving her receptionist Wanda a hard time when in fact, Wanda was very nice and also seemed scared when she was trying to explain the scam of Doctor Kogan triple bill for each my husband and I. Doctor Kogan had the audacity in bring up Wanda's business by stating " why are you treating Wanda that way can't you see she is sick". " um no Doctor Kogan I did not know she is sick nor did I need to know Wanda's business". I mean isn't there a medical privacy law that prevents Doctors to expose someone else's medical or health issue. And for Doctor Kogan to bring up Wanda's business to another patient is surreal to me. If Wanda is sick why is she working in your practice? Doctor Kogan is suppose to be a professional and she lacks all of it. She's not running a doctors office. Doctor Kogan is running a business and a scam. She uses her title as a Doctor to hustle down her patients. Please avoid buying her expensive supplements. They don't work and you can get a better value online. In a lighter note. What would had been a wasted day turned out to be a great one. Thanks to Doctor Kogan I was able to book another appointment that same morning with Doctor Saint Claire III. He has a beautiful office located right in front of the time warner building across from the Mandarin Hotel. Doctor Saint Claire and his office staff were very accommodating and and nice. My husband and I received a full physical and we were attended to very nice considering that we went there on a such a short notice.

But that was before I came across Dr. Stephen Poulos at AllPure Behavioral Health in February 2024. Now, almost a year into my recovery journey, I can confidently say that meeting Dr. Poulos changed my life. Dr. Poulos isn't just a doctor; he's a beacon of hope. From the very beginning, he didn't just treat my addiction--he treated me. Every single visit, he took the time to ask how I was truly feeling, how my cravings were, and adjusted my treatment plan based on what my body and mind needed. That level of care and attentiveness is so rare, and it has made all the difference in my recovery. When I started, I was on 16mg of Suboxone. With Dr. Poulos's careful guidance, we've gradually tapered down to 1mg a day with a slow and steady plan to continue. He never rushed me or pushed me beyond what I was ready for. Instead, he gave me the tools and the belief that I could reclaim my life. Thanks to Dr. Poulos, I've broken free from the chains of addiction. I feel genuinely happy, hopeful, and inspired--something I never thought was possible. I'll forever be grateful for his guidance, compassion, and unwavering belief in my ability to recover. If you feel like there's no way out, I urge you to seek help and take that first step. Dr. Poulos helped me when I thought no one could, and I hope my journey can inspire others the way he has inspired me. Thank you, Dr. Stephen Poulos--you've given me a second chance at life.

My grief did not go away, bc that is just not how grief affects us, but while using the Ketamine Treatments, I felt somehow closer to my loved one whom passed on... Ketamine gave me the will to push through my emotions, even as painful as they were... I feel, so many times in life, society expects you to accept the death, take a day or two, and then just tuck away your pain inside. And we now know that grief affects your mental and physical health. For me, the Ketamine gave me an allowance to grieve when I need it most. It allowed me to cry and reflect. I still have once treatment to do, but even the last once, I felt like it had helped me work through some intense feelings... Therapy never worked for me. I don't have issues telling someone what I have done, what I need to do, and knowing the steps to take to achieve therapeutic results... but counseling never gave me what I needed, and I've tried various medications, that never worked either, including making my habits worse through medicated assistance. I will never be "cured" of grief... but I feel the Ketamine helps me explore what I know is already inside of me.
