    Half taco/Half pepperoni and sausage

Every time I visit the QCA, I try to grab a HJ's pizza. I ordered a medium half taco, half pep&sausage pizza. The kitchen was extraordinary as ALWAYS!!! I chatted with the staff until my order was ready. My pizza was so delicious I froze the leftover's to bring back to Texas.

Food was great as usual ! Ordered taco pizza and sausage and pepperoni. Both pies were well worth the money and the service was great!

My parents missed the Happy Joe's Special so much, they adapted it on their own with home made pizza.

We requested dessert to go and it never arrived. The chicken parm was moist and tender. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish. The bread was pretty nondescript and t room temperature. We met another couple there and enjoyed a good meal and a couple of hours of great conversation. We were seated quickly, but it took a while for our server to make her way over to get our drink orders. Once we got those in our drinks were delivered and we ordered our meals. Food came out relatively quickly, and we had delicious bread to munch on while we were waiting. For dinner, I got the veal Parmesan, which was very tender veal and very tasty. My wife got the Salmon, which was pretty good, but her asparagus side was a bit woody. One other diner in our group got the Tortellini al Timballo, a hearty Italian dish, which was more than she could manage so she ended up taking about half of it home We got various glasses of wine from there pretty good wine list. We were there for a relaxing evening, so the somewhat slow service didn't bother us at all, but it did appear they might be a little understaffed with servers for a Friday night. Prices are exceptionally reasonable. I have been in Chicago earlier in the week and had a veal dish that was more than twice the cost of this one. The dining atmosphere is very casual and there is a lot of seating so I wouldn't think you would ever have to wait long for a table. Definitely a good deal for good food here.

Haven't been here in a couple years and I've been wanting to try this place again for a while now…read more We arrived early right when they Opened as we didn't know how busy would be I didn't wanna wait we got there shortly after they opened and there was already a good amount of people in there. Tom our waiter was knowledgeable about the food/menu, helpful and friendly. I got the ribeye which was outstanding, no A1 needed as it was too good to put anything on it. I opted for the steak fries as I wanted a thicker cut however they were more like a thick wedge and closer to potato wedge, they were still good however I tasted my boyfriends seasoned fries and they were way better they reminded me of the type of fries that they serve at five guys the fries were a 10 out of 10! A real homestyle fresh cut tasting fry. Actually the steak was 10/10 too. Sons kids cheeseburger looked great. Boyfriend got the Reuben and I've never had one before but I seen that corned beef coming out of his Sammie and it was tender and absolutely delicious. The whole sandwich was good despite the fact I don't care for rye bread. We added the salad bar with three soups and salad for an additional $4.50 not bad, the Philly cheesesteak chowder was good, a bit rich for a meal for me but seasoned well and very good. Next was a turkey tortilla soup, so it was like a take on the chicken tortilla soup loaded with some black beans and corn I thought it was a light good soup. Finally was the lobster bisque, boyfriend liked it, I'm not a lobster girl. Boyfriend randomly got a plate of red Potato salad and macaroni salad both which were 10/10. Red potato salad had hearty big red pieces of potato and the mac salad had a nice sweet taste, overall nice dining experience can't wait to go back and try other things!

Asked if we could rearrange them and was told they had a party after ours and we couldn't. My order was given to one of our ladies at the next table and after taking a bite realized it wasn't her order. They had to remake my order and do hers too. One lady didn't get her calzone until all of us was done with our meals. I asked if she was going to get it free or at least a discount on her tab and that didn't happen. That tables waiter was kinda rude to the ladies, but ours was very nice. My piggly wiggly sandwich lacked seasoning and was blah, but with some salt and pepper I could eat it. Your potato salad and steak fries were good though. We have a monthly women's luncheon and that was our second one there. The first one was great and we were in a room with another large group of women and our server and food was great. This will not deter me from going there because we have had good food and service, but just not this time.

I park in the call-in order pick up spot. Tow me…read more The young woman behind the counter was so enthusiastic about taking my order, I questioned if she was experiencing an alternate reality. Maybe one where she was asking children at the mall what they would like for Christmas, or one where all the noodles were free and any donations went to rescue abandoned, mutilated puppies. The ambient music started with a pleasing tune from Talking Heads and moved to a comforting hit by Bon Iver. Throughout the whole meal, the music swayed between alternative pop punk, basement ballads and easy hip hop beats. My ears were fed. I continued watching the employee as she said goodbye to patrons with slit eyes and a wide grin that continued as she turned around and got back to shuffling things around behind the counter. Although clearly an effort to bring those customers back in to the establishment, the purpose seems less about the financial gain of the big box chain, but more so to eliminate her panicked uselessness when the business slowed. The food came and smelled delicious. I ordered a Thai curry with rice noodle and vegetables, a meal fit for a calorie-conscious young woman in a tight skirt. The flavors were rich for a bowl just under 600 cals, an accomplishment for a place where adding salt, sugar and fat to mask the lack of depth is probably standard procedure. I look around at a room of single tops and enjoy my food down to the last shred of Napa cabbage, celebrating the ease and comfort of eating alone at Noodles.
