We met another couple there and enjoyed a good meal and a couple of hours of great conversation. We were seated quickly, but it took a while for our server to make her way over to get our drink orders. Once we got those in our drinks were delivered and we ordered our meals. Food came out relatively quickly, and we had delicious bread to munch on while we were waiting. For dinner, I got the veal Parmesan, which was very tender veal and very tasty. My wife got the Salmon, which was pretty good, but her asparagus side was a bit woody. One other diner in our group got the Tortellini al Timballo, a hearty Italian dish, which was more than she could manage so she ended up taking about half of it home We got various glasses of wine from there pretty good wine list. We were there for a relaxing evening, so the somewhat slow service didn't bother us at all, but it did appear they might be a little understaffed with servers for a Friday night. Prices are exceptionally reasonable. I have been in Chicago earlier in the week and had a veal dish that was more than twice the cost of this one. The dining atmosphere is very casual and there is a lot of seating so I wouldn't think you would ever have to wait long for a table. Definitely a good deal for good food here.

It was a bad fall and I needed 911 to get up. While I waited, the gal in front of house offered water & comfort and the owner (cook?) even came out from the back and couldn't have been kinder. Long story short, I finally got up and we did go ahead and have lunch...and it was one of the most delicious breakfasts I can remember having! Crispy, perfectly cooked hash browns with melted cheese topped with caramelized onions & mushrooms. Then comes plenty of brisket, two eggs cooked perfectly 'over medium' and topped with appealing micro greens. The cherry on top was actually the 5-6 beautifully roasted carrot straws served along side. So beautiful and absolutely delicious! Bottom line, they are not only a cute place, have nice people and great food but they are also a class act...they refused to take anything in payment for our food. I'll definitely be back but hopefully my entrance will be a lot less dramatic next time.
