I can say that if you work in any of the plants along this road then most likely you, like me, have been here at 4:30 a.m. to get your donuts/kolaches for your crew and yourself.
The parking lot is small, but things go pretty fast here so just a little patience and in a minute or two you will get to occupy that parking space you've been lurking at.
Service, the people in here are very nice. If you are here enough times they will eventually know your name. If this place was a bar it would be called Donut Cheer's if you know what I mean.
They take credit/debit card.
There are about 4 bench tables to sit at.
They have a microwave for you to use or even to heat up your kolache.
They have this big a$$ bbq pit on the side that is around $9k (I'm not lying, go look at that monster!) so you can use that as a marker to find this place if your eyes dont' want to look up at a 45 degree angle to read the sign......has anybody ever thought of inventing smoked donuts or kolaches? Just wondering.
The prices are cheap if not reasonable here. $5.50 for a dozen of plain donuts and the kolache prices are difference since there are different ingredients in each one and don't forget to try the boudin kolaches.
You should have a good experience here, if not, just inform the owner/cashiers behind the counter. This is a small family business and I am pretty much sure they would like to rectify any misgivings or situations here. read more
