So happy with this place! We rented a trailer from them and they bent over backwards to make it work for us. It was a pretty big trailer and in order for us to haul it with our Yukon they gave us a weight distributing hitch for free (I didn't realize we would need it or else we would have reserved one to begin with). We took our camper all the way to Yaak Montana and it was amazing. Everyone else in the campground was commenting on our "brand new trailer". It ended up being cheaper than staying at a hotel each night... And way more fun. This is a family run organization and I wish I could tell you all the small things they did to try and make our experience a good one. They exceeded my expectations! I would give 0 start to them. Just stay away from these thieve. Rent a camper from them, it was old and crappy. After the rental, they hold $500 dollars from my deposit and claim the camper's cable is damaged. After hours and hours afford, involving the Bank and BBB, I cut the lost to $80. The worst part is, that's not over yet! SIX(6) months later, they billed me another $1000 bill, saying that they found another damage on the bumper and they claim I am responsible for it... Rip-off! Stay away from them. I rent the camper trailer from them. The trailer light plug came off when I was driving on the highway. I don't think I was responsible for the damage but I bought them a new plug anyway. I stated the issue clearly when I returned the trailer. The clerk said "OK, just wrote done the issue on the comment area." and ACCEPTED my new replacement part , not mentioned anything about repairing fee. However, one week later , they took $476.88 from my deposit. Called them and they said they need to replace the whole cable but not only the plug and the cable costed them almost $400. LOL, even a 12-year-old kid know how to replace the plug without removing the whole cable. Even it needs to be replaced, a 20' cable with plug sale @$40 online or at any local store. These guys own an auto shop. So, they know exactly how much it costs.They just steal your money from your deposit! PS: They also leased me a (THE ONLY ONE ) toweling vehicle @ nearly 100K miles with engine check light on! They lied about the engine light saying that is because some other customer put 87 gas into it, it will go off if I put 91 gas back....Come on! the Chevy pick-up truck is designed to run 87 gas. read more

If I could give 0 stars to this "cover" business I would. It's a complete scam. Do NOT attempt to rent a camper from these people. Your experience will be anything but happy since they don't actually have the campers that they claim they do on their nifty little website (which makes them look way more legit than they really are). After driving 1200 miles to rent the camper we had reserved 2 months prior, it wasn't "available" anymore - in fact they only have one camper that was way too large for us to pull through the mountains with our vehicle. We had paid our deposit and confirmed with them just days prior. Upon arrival, we knew we'd been scammed as soon as we drove into the parking lot. The employees offered no explanation for not having the camper we supposedly reserved. Not even an "I'm sorry" came from any of them. We were left scrambling to try to figure out a new plan for the vacation we'd been planning for six months. If you want to rent a camper, find a different option because Happy Campers in Billings, MT is a scam. Horrible business, unfriendly staff, false advertising. STAY AWAY!! read more
