DONT COME HERE !!!! Zero Stars , even if you show them a picture of exactly you want they will still mess it up. I HATED my hair cut and I was trying to give this place a chance but holy damn they SUCK, yeah it's cheap but it's not worth it AT ALL , after they cut my hair I told them I want more of a skin fade, they proceeded to offset my hair , one side a perfect fade and the other side bald and up in the corner of my hair line they were about to not say anything and leave me like that until I told them something about it, I was pissed off , told them I want the manager to fix it and ofc he couldn't what perfect service. So the same person who messed up my hair "try to fix it" and it was still messed up since u was BALD ON ONE SIDE!!! , the. Proceeded to say oh it's the way my hair is even though we talked about the way I style it and he had it prefect before just not a skin fade , so instead of owning up to his mistake he wanted to blame my hair and blame me. So showing you a picture and YOU saying you can do it no problem, honestly I will never ever come here again even if they paid me , this isn't the first time they messed up too but I wanted to try to give them a chance but yet the mess up over and over again , DO NOT COME HERE read more

I've been coming for 10 years but the price has increased twice in the passed 3 months. I know $20 isn't much but it's a big jump from $15 especially when before covid it was $8 lol. I would usually go to Ms. Linda or sometimes Michael. They give good cuts but I think the price hike was a bit much so I'm trying other places. read more

Please note that this place is on a strip mall 2711, but the sign only says Barber. There is plenty of parking and open on Sunday! Upon entering, we were greeted by a woman and immediately sat my grandson down. He said he wanted a comb over. She had him stand up, put the cape on, and started by brushing his hair, and then the clippers came out. Overall, it was about 15 minutes, and she did an excellent job. Just for reference, he is 10 years old. So, I did see many adults walking in and out. They have several barbers in here. Large seating area, and a old school cash register that says Cash Only. Hey, $12 bucks for a haircut! Great service, affordable and clean. The place looks like a little old school, but don't be discouraged. I recommend this place because they listen and do a great job. Again, the lady was attentive to my grandson and did what. He asked for. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, but all were friendly. This must be a hot spot because I watched over 1/2 dozen folks come in and out. Check out the cut. read more

I went over here for a 5 all around with a high taper. The barber who cut my hair rushed through the haircut. The taper wasn't blended very well, uneven sides, I got razor burned on the back of my neck, and missed a lot of spots on the top. I wouldn't suggest going to this guy. He was the third chair on the right. read more

Don't get a hair cut by the Asian guy with white hair first he said $17 then on the register said $18 then I paid with $20 bill he didn't give the change on top of that he didn't have even make my hair after cutting it and it didn't look like I asked him ... I got recommended but I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE unless you look for a cheap place that does the job then is perfect for you read more

I've been looking around for barbers in my area for a long time. Being a traditionalist, I've been with the same barber shop in Alhambra the past 20+ years. Of course, with the commute trying to get there impossibly early, some crazy planning is usually involved if I want to get my cut being the first person. Now that I've found this place, for now it is a good place to go in between cuts that will last me another 2-3 weeks. This place opens 8:30am and I was lucky to be first because 10 minutes later, I saw four other customers come in. I requested a using a buzz for 1 on the side and a bit off the top. The whole time there was no conversation so I didn't catch the name of the person cutting my hair but he did do a good job with the buzzard. However, he didn't seem cut anything off the top at all so I was kind of disappointed at that. When all was done (20 minutes later), he used the air blower to blow off excess hair and puts some kind of powder on the edges. My cut was really simple so it was $7 but prices seem to range from $7-$10 which is fair for what you get. BTW, this place kind of smells like mothballs and the decor looks like Asian mish mosh. Will definitely come back! read more

Micheal and the lady there are always taking care of my son! The prices are good so are the people there!

They messed my hair up worst cut I have ever gotten I asked for them to fix it and just made it worse

I go here about 1/3 of the time I need a haircut. Its great for when you need a quick trim or cheap haircut. Normally I go to my regular spot but since I have a work conference, I needed something quick. Again, this is the perfect place for that. The best part about this? It's only $8. They do normally cater to a quick haircut or more cholo type fade in my opinion (fade is $10). Sometimes they give you a head massage, or a hot towel on the face, or a quick one minute shoulder massage. It really depends who you get. The women are more likely to do that while the men just give you the haircut and do it quick. Again, dont go here saying you want a cross fade fauxhawk with 3/4 turn or whatever all those terms are. You go there and say, 3 on side, 4 on front max. So dont expect the service of a $25 haircut. read more

Don't get a haircut here they were super rude the place was super dirty and there was cockroaches at the barber and they didn't even cut my hair how I want it. read more

Been coming here for years , up until a month ago when my son had his last hair cut there. My son ended up getting a fungal infection on his scalp also called a barbers itch. My son is on antibiotics for the next 6 weeks and has lost hair in that section. I suggest you make sure you sanitize each machine very well after each and every use. Or it will Continue to spread . read more

This is one of my favorite spots until I had the owner (The one picture of him and Leo) . In the beginning it seemed pretty nice, I showed him a picture of how I wanted my haircut and he made it seem like it was the easy request very simple. I pretty much have an undercut with a lime on the side of my head which is what I usually get but this time I don't know how he saw the picture but he decided to put the line almost in the middle of my head which made the whole cut not the same cut anymore. Long story short when it came to pay, I gave him a $20 bill and as he took it he was saying bye-bye and assumed that he gets the to keep the change. I gave him a couple seconds to see if you would actually attempt to give me change but no he just took the money I didn't give change and it was on his happy way. read more

Let me first say that I take responsibility in my decisions for selecting a barbershop that had a $10 rate for mid skin fades. You get what you paid for, etc. Although price is not always indicative of the quality of the hair cut or customer service, I definitely think this is one situation where it does apply. The barber that I had lacked any real technique or finesse. By finesse I mean he was driving in those clippers into skull. It was after feeling my skin was being torn away at the back of my neck that I asked him to be a little softer. He then continued to go in rough on the back of my head. I have coarse, thick hair so it has a tendency to pull if you use bad clippers or you're going fast. After plucking a few hairs out, I yanked my head away from the clippers and told him that was painful. He preceded to tell me I should've told him it hurt, as if my initial request and body language didn't give it away. The haircut ended with not so much a fade but a line from one temple to the other. I will say he is a nice guy. However, he sucks at cutting hair. Also, he doesn't know how to not harm his clients. If you look at Dana S.' picture she uploaded of her child, I think my barber was the same guy who cut the kid's neck up. How hard is it not to injure your guests? Anyways, Dana is sort of racist with her comment, but her warning is still valid. Retrain him or get rid of him! I know my barber said he just came back today from a month long visit to Vietnam. So if you come in and get a barber who just recently came back from Vietnam, best of luck. You're in for a rough cut. read more

Love this place, been coming here for years. Mike hooks it up all the time! If there's a wait it's worth it. Respect to all the workers who help us look good during these hard times. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to leave looking good. read more

Excellent haircut! Excellent service Excellent price They are very skilled and very quick and very nice I always feel welcomed when I get a haircut and I feel amazing because they have some magic hands it's like getting a $30 haircut for like 1/3 of the of price! Salon was very dirty! HAPPY BARBER had no one happy in there! First time cutting my son hair & they had no book as to see what kind of hair cuts they did. We asked for a book & they all stared at us like we said something out this world. We were obviously indecisive as to what hair cut we were doing & the lady or men idk what she was decided to help someone else. NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH!! Terrible service. Very dirty dirty place read more

Mike only wants to cut certain people's hair. Was waiting in line when it was my turn someone else walked in and he said he couldn't do my hair. Dont cut ur hair with anyone else nobody know how to do a simple mid fade. The lady left it all choppy. Poor customer service read more

Honestly I do not want to disclose the issue that orrcured here but I am absolutely appalled by some of the workers here. Everytime I step foot into this store and a particular barber isn't there, the workers here pass us along like they don't want to give us service. They keep pushing us towards other people that are free and they say that they don't want to work on us. This has happened 100% of the time that I've come here when our barber isn't here. What's even more rude is that I speak Vietnamese; I understand what you're saying and I see the glances you all exchange each other. However, I will say that the barbers here do a great job giving their clients haircuts and building a relationship with them. I just continuously have a bad experience here after giving then so many chances. read more

One of the cheapest barber shop I've been too. They cut hair pretty quick and are pretty good about it. I've been going here for the past 12 years from there old location before in magnolia. So I still love this place. Been coming here for almost a year now. Great haircuts for an amazing price. However, they recently started being weird with their change for tip. Usually I break a twenty and they give me my change back, then I'll tip them back from that change. But recently they'll break my $20 and just give me a $5 and keep the rest as their tip. I don't appreciate that. Let the customer have his full change back and then let them decide on how much to tip. It leaves a bad feeling thinking now they're starting to take advantage. If this happens again I'm going to say something. Last two time I just insisted on getting my full change back. I hope the owner reads this so that he can tell his staff to stop doing this. read more

Happy Barber is a great place to get your haircut at. Busy but fast so there have been times where we've had to wait. Both my son and I get our haircuts there with no complaints. They've been extremely great with my son who is with special needs. Thumbs up 5 stars whatever. Great place read more

Best thing about this place is they move you so fast. In and out in 20 min tops usually. But damn, is it a gamble how you leave, but I guess that's why it's cheap. Cheap ain't always good. I'm 2 for 5 on satisfactory cuts. The 3rd and 5th cut have been trash. I literally have a jacked up lopsided hairline right now and the lady tried to blame that on my hairline naturally being uneven... if this were true it doesn't mean you made it any better lol For now, I will have to say avoid the last couple chairs on the far right side upon entering... read more

7 dollar haircut! What a deal! They do great contemporary haircuts. Don't expect a high end salon or super fancy haircut. My Barber is Linda. She has been for a few years since I work nearby. All the workers are Vietnamese. Don't expect perfect English. You will wonder sometime if they understood you. But they do. It's hard to understand their chit chat with you sometimes so keep it at a minimum. Expect to wait a while as they are very popular. I come in during my lunch break between 12:30 to 3pm. This is a he best time to avoid the crowds. If you come from 5 to 7 expect to wait minimum of 45 minutes and maybe not get your preferred Barber. The decor is new mixed with old. It is much better than their precious place. They are very friendly. I highly recommend them for the price read more

I'm selfishly reluctant to promote this barber shop, only because it would decrease my chances for an available barber to receive me upon walking in. But they deserve all the business that comes to them. For 7 to 10 dollars, these hair artists take time to perfect their craft on each customer. They also have this amazing giant dust blower machine that is used to blow off loose hair from your head! I've learned to trust every barber at this shop to cut my hair. I live all the way in Irvine , and I am still searching my area for a comparable shop. Factoring in the price, wait, and quality of the cut, nobody comes close in the Irvine area. I've only found barber shops charging 20+ dollars and getting a horrible haircut, and a freaking champagne to compensate for your long wait. :/ So I drive to Anaheim every two weeks for these guys. read more

I would recommend, good, fast and affordable great service .they do good fades and they clean up your beard

My go to place for my weekly fade. Very reasonably priced for a great haircut. All the barbers are good but my go to is Michael.

Horrible. This is the worst barber shop Ive ever been to. Ive tried this place out 3 times and EACH time they have defied my orders and did whatever they wanted to. First time: I show her a picture, and another picture she says ok. She asks me if I want a slickback, I say no. THEN SHE PROCEEDS TO GIVE ME A SLICKBACK. WTF. Lady on the last chair on the right. Second time: Not bad, she forgot my taper but not bad at all. Lady second to last chair on the right. Third time: This was the WORST haircut Ive ever gotten. I just asked for a simple skin taper, fade. FIRST HE LINES ME UP WITHOUT ANY CARE. ONE SIDE OF MY LINEUP IS ABOUT A HALF INCH HIGHER THAN THE OTHER SIDE. HOW DO YOU MESS THIS UP AS A "BARBER". Its legit as uneven as it gets. Next he doesnt even blend my taper...take some damn pride in your work. How do you blend a taper on one side and not the other? Its the man on the second chair on the right, AWFUL BARBER. Do NOT get him or you will suffer. Im never coming back and I will tell everyone to never come here. Horrible. read more

This was my first time coming here and for the price of $8, I was kind of worried that would reflect the quality of the cut...I was wrong. I go to high school and I try to find all the right kind of barbers to keep my fade clean af haha. I've gone to rosewood, stache house but those places charge like $20. Here I honestly got the same cut for more than half the price. I really liked my cut from here from my first time , I got a zero mid fade with a lineup from lily and it was really clean. Son when I tell you all DO NOT get your cuts from this place. Every time I go there it's a different set of barbers only one lady has been able to consistently cut my hair well and she hasn't been working recently. Got my hair cut today and dude left no type of regard for my head. No line, taper fade is SLOPPY, And he gave me a messed up parabola edge behind my ear. Yeah, it's a $15 cut but my friend did not even TRY to make my head look good. Not even worth the $15 read more

Decent haircuts for the price but if you need the top cut(not buzzed with a clip) look elsewhere. Stay away from the lady 2nd to the last chair(unless you speak Vietnamese) she doesnt understand english too well and messed up my haircut. She gets 1 star, the guys on the 1st and 2nd chair give good fades, 4 star. read more

Great haircuts and friendly people! I've been taking my son here for a while now and he always comes out with a freshly faded haircut and looking good! This place unbelievable!!!! I came in two days on Friday for a hair cut and beard line up only to have it completely butchered! Came in today on Sunday to get it fixed only to be charged again. The beard line up was sooooooo bad I had to shave it off when I got home. Worst customer service I have ever had. To make things worse they did not know till after the haircut that I understood Vietnamese. I spoke some Vietnamese to her after so she would know that I was listening to them talk trash about me during he hair cut.
