This was my first get together with other Yelp members. It immediately felt very welcoming and I was happy to meet a lot of new, cool people there. I was able to learn about a lot more about Yelp, the international community and what it takes to be a Yelp elite. The location was a great idea for a casual event like that. The parking lot is limited but not hard to actually park. The atmosphere was very well lit and had appealing wall decor that catches your eyes as you walk in. I always appreciate different ways to view the menu & I also like that there was a self-ordering kiosk as well. The staff seemed pretty friendly. The sitting area was clean and comfortable for a decent group of people around 15-20. I got the rose lychee green tea, 1/2 sweet with extra ice. The drink was refreshing with the lemon slices but there were several seeds at the bottom of the drink which made it hard to fully enjoy. The chicken was cooked well and crunchy but not all the pieces were equally covered in sauce. I definitely would want to come back another time to check out more menu items especially since it's the first boba brand available here! Thank you for a fun office hours event!

This was my first time attending an Office Hours event and it was great! I arrived and was immediately greeted by Jando and a neat table of Yelp Swag. Jando treated us to a boba tea so I tried the Brown Sugar Milk Black Tea with Oreo & Milk Foam and it was delicious! The staff was very nice and there was a good amount of seating. It was great to meet fellow Elites and have great conversations. I really want to thank Jando for being so welcoming! I've been in Houston for less than a year and he has been so kind! I'm so glad to be part of this amazing community!

Juicy brewin' tea drinks and crunchy lil' nuggets? My type of HAPI hour right here! Exclusive convos with the homie Jando? Yes please! I love Yelp office hours and this one was a real treat. This spot is cute, light and airy. Plenty of seating @ Tsaocaa without it being too big or too small of a space. The vibes were immaculate. Just right. I'm lovin' their tea menu here. What a neat spot! Happy they opened up a location in the HOU. Tried two different beverages and both were refreshing. The first had nata jelly (made with coconut pulp and pineapple flavoring) & the second drink consisted of tapioca pearls. Both were chewy and tantalizing, but I must say, the pineapple with jasmine tea and nata jelly were totally delightful. The floral notes of jasmine were quite aromatic and sensual. Perfumy without being overwhelming. Probably the best I've had. Thanks for the complimentary tea(s) Jando! As well as the Yelp loot, cute little trinkets scattered round' the table. The pizza cutter will come in clutch as well as the travel accessory bag. Always appreciated. It was a tasty Tuesday tea day. Spent with good chatter, caffeine and fruity chews. We also had the youngest yelper join in on all the fun. The bebe was all giggles and smiles. What a delight. Until next time!

I had a great time at my first "Yelp Office Hours" event at TSAOCAA (but really, what is this name?!) I got to meet some of the greatest Houston Yelpers and picked up some cool Yelp swag as well! Jando entertained us with his rendition of "Stump the CM" - it's always exciting to peek behind the curtain and see what Yelp has in store for the the year. As for our snacks, I quite enjoyed the textures and tastes of my taro sago milk tea and the crispy Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken, and am eager to swing back to try some of the other menu items. I loved that the format of the event allowed for a more casual, communal approach to the business as well as to each other - y'all will definitely catch me at the next office hours session (even if I have to drive farther for it!)

Really appreciated the opportunity to meet other Yelp Elite members at this event! I feel like while its cool to see a lot of people around at bigger events, having some smaller events like this one gave me the time and space to stick with one group and get to know them! I also enjoyed Tsaocaa as a location. It is convenient and more central to the city, so now I have another option on my list for my boba craves. Parking is probably the hardest part about this plaza due to its limited space, but I was able to find parking in the neighborhood behind the plaza without issue.

The milk tea had a good balance of creaminess while still retaining the natural tea flavor. Not even knowing I was going to her establishment. Thy was incredible. She helped me on the popular drink menu between the two choices we had and also something to snack on because I was incredibly hungry after leaving my meeting. I chose the blueberry blush. I had the full sweetness, with no eyes but shaking. Topped off with honey boba and the boba that it came with. **I give the tea a 9/10. It was not overly sweet and the blueberry taste was certainly present but not too powerful. It's definitely a beverage I could see myself drinking daily. My niece actually LOVED it and she's only 10 months. I also had the regular karate chicken. Level 3 spice with basil. The chicken was a solid 10. Point. Blank. Period. It's what you would want from Korean chicken. It was crispy but tender. Spicy, but not unbearable. It also came with sauces if you'd like and I chose the sweet chili. The sweet chili itself was incredibly delicious. But paired with the chicken?? So so yummy. The chicken on its own is a 10 but this sweet chili sauce absolutely elevated it. Then...as I was taking pictures... BOOM! SPLASHHHH...boba went a'flyin' everywhere on the floor. Yay me. I sure know how to stick a landing. Perfect 10! I informed Thy, and without hesitation she came with a broom and a mop. And still had a smaller face. She even offered to make me another one even though the splash was completely my fault. I almost wanted to tear up in gratitude. Truly. I was a bit overwhelmed this morning and that small act of kindness was so appreciated. All in all, I had a wonderful time as I sat there and ate and relax with my baby niece. This place is awesome with wonderful customer experience as well. I will certainly be back! Thank you so much, Jandoooooo and the Yelp Houston team. A much needed and delicious break in the day.

The movie opens to the public on November 7th which made it all the more special that Yelp hooked us up with the opportunity to get a special preview. I've been to several of the YES movie nights before and made sure to read the instructions prior to arrival as sometimes the check in process can be confusing. Knowing that these advance screenings are not exclusive to Yelp, I made sure to arrive well in advance at 6pm only to find a huge line already camped out outside the main entrance. While this was a little intimidating, the line funneled inside fairly quickly to a smooth check in at the table outside of the theater. I'll be the first to admit that I am completely out of the loop on the newest movie releases and movie series and had never even heard of this film. Set far into the future, predator Dek, labeled as the underdog from his clan, sets out to prove himself to his kinsman and seek redemption for his brother's death. Faced with multiple lessons of loyalty and teamwork, Dek finds several companions on his journey which turn him from a solo adventurer to a leader of his own new clan. The film was exciting and kept the audience on their toes. The creatively of the physical appearance of the characters and the qualities of the natural environment were impressive and definitely gave me some ideas for Halloween 2026 costumes. As always, thanks Yelp and Jando, for setting up this event and allowing Yelp Elites to venture into the badlands!
