Gouge Alert: Crown Peach…read more Look, I know Crown Peach just came back out in limited quantities, but the man behind the counter (owner I presume) was a jackass. First of all, I went to the counter to ask where it was, as it wasn't on the shelf where the other Crown was. He was on the phone, I patiently waited, he gave them the "what do you need look" while staying on the phone, I quietly asked where it was, on the floor behind you. They had 3 cases and no price tag, that was my first hint. I then asked him how much, he said $49/bottle for 750ml. I said you do know this is regularly $29/bottle everywhere else, he abruptly said "yea if they have it". I said you are crazy, as I know it's back out in limited qty, and other places have it. I left and drove 15 mins up the road to Total Wine in Cherry Hill, got it for $29.09/bottle. Bought 4 bottles of it, on my way. I would have paid $35/bottle, but jacking it up almost 70% is BS. I hope it sits on his floor and goes bad, unfortunately it probably won't because of the demand. Just wanted to make the consumer aware of this guys pricing model. Happy & safe drinking my Yelp friends.

I didn't end up buying anything, but I wanted to put at least one entry here because the owner /…read moremanager deserves a kudos for customer service. The entrance is a little seedy and I did note that the register is protected by bullet proof glass but they seem to have a nice selection of different beers... by the case. A little excessive for an out of town visitor like me! The owner / manager asked if he could help me in any way and when I told him that I was looking for something closer to a 6-pack, he directed me to Monaghan's Pub which apparently sells six packs in addition to the awesome food I had during my last visit. They only sell beer at Printz, so if you're on the lookout for anything else, you won't find it here.

They have cold beer & wine to go. Nothing super fancy in the cold section though. The wines, sherry etc on shelf are decent. I've found some eclectic bottles of liqueurs too. In a world full of super stores and liquor chains, Geisler's Liquor Store is a refreshing break…read more The store isn't huge but I think they make up for it in quality over quantity. I was really impressed by the selection of local Jersey wines, and think it's really great that they support the local economy. They had a good deal of Tomasello Winery wines. Perhaps almost half of what I recently saw at one of their tasting rooms. Way to represent! The wines overall ranged from under $10 a bottle to some nicer reserve stuff. They have my personal favorite The Starborough Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has at a reasonable price so I was ecstatic. I'm a craft beer fan and while the selection wasn't huge in comparison to some of the area chains, the staple crafts were represented. The seasonality of the beers was totally on point. Pumpkin beer lovers rejoice! Evil Genius Trick or Treat and Traveler's Jack-O...yes, please! I thought it was really cool that they have a cooler of craft beer singles. You can sample one without committing to a six-pack. What really stood out to me though was the service. The associate took the time to walk me through the store and make sure I found everything I was looking for. With beer, wine and liquor available, I'm like a kid in a candy store in a Jersey liquor store so I appreciate her patience. I had a great experience at a local business, and found a great bottle of wine to BYOB for dinner with a friend.

I was able to find most of what I was looking for but the place where there should have been a basket tray full of ginger was very bare and what was left looked pretty old and worn. I know you don't wear food but these remnants of ginger looked like that had to have been worn because the wear and tear on them. They could have had few more cashiers but that has been my experience with ShopRite lately. It's a decent supermarket with a variety of foods and more that cover a number of ethnic foods and such. I like them. As for customer service, I didn't encounter anyone so I can't share that experience. They were out of ad with coupons and it is only Monday. I wonder if the store gets a bonus for all the savings that their customers could have received. I don't know just thinking out loud. Anyway! Happy I decided to stop in and give Shoprite another whirl. They had circulars and the ginger was a little better.
