This is uncharacteristic for other local distributors, and it is a welcome positive about this place. They also have great prices, which, for some harder-to-find stuff that we buy, ends up cheaper than Total Wine in Delaware. And by cheaper, I mean the pre-tax total, the after-tax total, all cheaper than the same thing in Delaware, AND I don't have to pay for gas to drive 40mi roundtrip to get it. THAT is a deal!

I am updating my review from 2 months ago back in May. I held back in my original review and was…read moregenerous and gave these guys a 4* but with comments highlighting my concerns about the lack of masks both among the employees and from entering customers. I went in again a 2nd time and visited a 3rd time just in the past few days. The employees STILL do not wear masks. There is a sign on the door that firmly demands that anyone entering the store must wear a mask but the staff do not abide by their own rules. They have a glass shield at the counter so I guess that's one effort they have made to try and stop the virus spread. However, when cases are rising all over the US on a daily basis, employees should at least cover their nose and mouth to give more comfort to customers who are wearing masks to protect them from our germs. So I have downgraded my generous 4* to a realistic 1* due to the lack of masks worn by staff. I support local businesses and if this business will begin to take mask wearing and people's health safety into more consideration, then I will consider revising my nasty review and potentially moving their rating back up to a more generous level. But only if I know that these guys are finally taking this thing seriously. My review from May 2020 below: So, they have a sign that says you need to wear a mask but the employee is walking around without a mask. As I'm grabbing a case of beer I see a customer coming in with no mask. Then another customer enters and he ALSO isn't wearing a mask. So now I'm the only idiot in the store with a mask on. It was like I magically got transported back in time to three months ago. So if you think masks are a nuisance and you don't feel like wearing one then get your beer here. Anyway They have a decent beer selection so I'll be nice and give them 4 st

Since moving to PA, "Fine Wine & Good Spirits" in Broomall has become my go-to shop for a number of reasons: ** Silvio, the store's sommelier, has extensive background in wine and spirits. He knows his inventory and has recommended a good number of bottles that meet my criteria. In addition -- he's very nice. ** The store has an excellent selection of domestic and international wine, well laid-out with frequent price reductions. ** Last week we needed vodka. Having recently bought the same in NYC, I was delighted with this store's various brands. So much to choose from! "Fine Wine" is situated in a strip mall that brings me here for other reasons: TJ Maxx, Home Goods, GNC and my favorite Dollar Tree. Most every Friday and Saturday, from 4 - 6 p.m., Silvio hosts a free tasting of four select wines. It may be a good time for you to stop by!

Try before you buy isn't really a moto for most wine and liquor. But I'm much more likely to purchase a more expensive product if I'm given the opportunity to try it before dropping $40+ on a bottle of wine. Their selection is very good, I can always find something that appeals to me even if I wasn't able to find the exact product that may be a bit more difficult to find like Jefferson's ocean barrel strength or tin cup 10 year. They are often running specials on different products so I always keep my eye out for good deals! I've seen upwards of $5 off a bottle which is cool. They always have box sets with glassware or special items if you're looking for a gift for someone. Parking here is the major downside however the big lot across the street by the firehouse always has open spots... Just a bit of a walk.
