It was suggested by a friend that I see Dr. Singh for a therapy for my back because it worked…read morereally well for him. I didn't think about needing my doctor to refer me and called them directly. I made an appointment and explained why I wanted to see her. When I got to the office, the receptionist was short, looked at my insurance card funny like I didn't have good coverage, asked someone else (Bea) and she told her it was ok. She then said I would have to call and have my primary doctor changed on my insurance. I was not there to get a new primary. She said "well you know this is a primary care office." which I did not. As it was explained to me, this was something this doctor specialized in and I didn't know she was a primary. Normally when I call a specialist, the receptionist helps take care of the referrals and insurance. When I again stated why I wanted to see this particular doctor, she stated I would have to get a referral from my doctor and an approval from my insurance as a specialty visit. She never offered to help and as a matter of fact said I couldn't be seen even if I got my primary on the phone. she handed my cards back to me and as I was continuing to speak she turned to her computer and ignored me. I won't bother with the referral now that I know how their patients are treated if there is an issue that isn't easy for them or may take some extra effort. Quite unfortunate. I was looking forward to it.

From the owner: Hello humankindness. It's more than a tagline. Humankindness is one of the many things we all have…read morein common. It's the good within us. The power that connects us. And at CommonSpirit Health, we fuse it into heartfelt healing, inspired innovation, and mindful medicine. It's in how we provide treatment and the way we treat patients. Our communities need caring, and our families need support. CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities by advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen. Because the way care is provided is often as meaningful as the care itself.
