I recently had an appointment fora Medicare Wellness visit and a blood draw both of which are entcovered thru Medicare benefits. I just got a bill for almost $500.00 for a comprehensive office visit. The provide, D. Finnegan, is a nice guy, I like him but he baited me into answering questions that eventually resulted in my Wellness Exam being a comprehensive office visit. "Do you need a prescription renewed." Boom, comprehensive office visit. "Let me listen to your heart", boom, comprehensive office visit. As a patient am I supposed to know that answering any question outside of the Wellness Exam protocols changed everything? 15 minutes in the office and a bill of $500.00 for 2, yes 2 office vists. $130.00 for an office visit and $350.00 for a comprehensive office visit. What? They are running a scam to fill the pockets of that location. I'm filing a complaint for fraud with Medicare and for fraud with the Illinois Insurance Commissio. Beware if you use this location because they will scam you.

He is the best primary care doctor and he has been my doctor for four years. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to listen. Dr. Simon has proven to be an excellent diagnostician and immediate care provider as well. We are fortunate to have him back in Rockford.

Went in for a sinus infection and I had no tests done (no strep test, no Covid test, etc). I was…read morewith the doctor for 5-10 minutes total, he looked at my ears and in my throat and I was billed $180 by Northpointe (after insurance), which I thought was going to be the total bill. Then two months later I received an additional $900 bill, which they stated was for seeing the doctor himself. They do not bill as a normal walk in clinic. Northpointe bills you a facility charge on top of the doctor billing you for their service. I would not recommend going here.
