He had the job done in about an hour and provided a tour of where the boundary lines were. He encountered a situation with someone that could have easily escalated but his great 'people skills' prevented anything from happening. I can't say enough about EDM, their services, or their employees. Tyler and Jay are the definition of what 'true-professionals' are and I consider them both as assets to the company. Apparently the guy didn't own a watch as he only showed up 10hrs after his scheduled appointment for a "quote" he did the survey which was supposed to be a "quote " , he was at my property for approximately 15-20 min. Then sent me a bill for 5hrs. No signature for approval no quote. After calling his office 3 seperate times i was told the boss would call me back to discuss the issue with a bill that i did not sign. 2 years later went into the office to discuss the bill in person. The entire time the guy was feeding me a line of bull sh*t that he had spent 3.5hrs at my place even after I told him BS as i was standing there the whole time the survey took place. Nothing honest about this place nothing but lies and dishonest business dealing. $550 bill for 20 on the long side of work. Office is only 5 min from my property.

We called for our land to be surveyed. We asked Uinta Engineering to find the property corners and…read morestake points on the line. We also asked to be present when the survey was completed. When we asked for the price we were told it would depend on what was involved to find the corners. We arrived at our property and saw that only one side had been surveyed. Only half of the job was completed and we were not present. Called Uinta Engineering to return to finish the job and was told the surveyors needed to calculate where the corner is. When they returned, just by chance we saw them surveying the back property line and asked them to put stake points on the back property line as originally requested. Since the property corner was in the road, we asked for a witness corner to be placed on our property. In dealing with Uinta Engineering they were curt and rude especially when I said they only did half the job. Got the bill and we were charged for two service calls. Called and asked why we were charged twice when only half the job was completed on the first visit and the had to be called back. When I called the person who answered the phone was the surveyor and he said he "marked the back line the first time they were out, but I just could not find the marks." The two stories we received are different as to why the job was not completed on the first visit - the corner had to be calculated and the other was the corner was marked but we could not find it. What good is a survey if you can't find the corner they marked? On the first visit they did not mark along the back property line as requested. Because I called and they had to return, we got charged twice for the same job. Uinta Engeneering is not customer oriented and we cannot recommend Uinta Engineering & Surveying.
