I stumbled upon Hansel & Gretel after leaving the bar l'Antiquaire in search of some fries. They give a decent amount of fries for 3€. I shared two portions with two other girls and was perfectly satisfied for my late night munchies! The fries were however extremely salty, among the saltiest I've ever had, but for the price I wouldn't complain. It seems like they have a decent menu for students as well; will come back again to try their bratwurst and beer combo! There's seating outside as well as indoors upstairs. The waitress was wearing a dirndl and was very nice- in fact she convinced us to come in haha! The best part is that they're open much later than stated here on Yelp and on their menu. We went at 23h and they were still open when we left near midnight. read more

A delicious and VERY German restaurant. GREAT prices, super food, kind service. Lyon has needed this for years. A perfect taste of Germany in France! Danke schön. read more

We went here on a monday noon... only 2-3 tables, otherwise empty... we sat outside waiting for…read moresomeone to take care... no one came so I went inside and said we dont have too much time... The waiter gave me the menus and asked us to wait at the table... Another 10 minutes and no one!!!!! So we waved hands to the eaiter who was still inside doing not much!!!! A good proof that service comes first... So we walked round the corner to King Marcel and enjoyed the smiling faces, quick service and best burgers...
