A group of friends were craving Chinese food so we decided to check out Restaurant La Baguette d'Or. Although it looks small and unassuming from the outside (I assumed it was just another cheap student spot since it's over at Plainpalais), the inside was decorated well and it was definitely not cheap. We ordered a bunch of meats and vegetables to share. The food was fine. It wasn't great and at times I felt like it was a bit under seasoned, but it was passable and if I am desperately craving Chinese food, I will return.

The fries were however extremely salty, among the saltiest I've ever had, but for the price I wouldn't complain. It seems like they have a decent menu for students as well; will come back again to try their bratwurst and beer combo! There's seating outside as well as indoors upstairs. The waitress was wearing a dirndl and was very nice- in fact she convinced us to come in haha! The best part is that they're open much later than stated here on Yelp and on their menu. We went at 23h and they were still open when we left near midnight.
