Most of the products are organic, some vegan, and healthy foods that have minimal additives. For example, they don't carry carbonated soda. They have a Deli section, as you first walk in on the right, with some premade sandwiches, that look very good, a coffee bar, gelato. There's an indoor dining area and an outdoor dining area. They have vegetables, fruits, groceries, and some non-food items. Teas, some snacks, canned/bottled foods. The staff is bilingual; that comes in handy when you're French is on a junior high school level, and hasn't been used in decades. =)

The 3 or 4 staff there are great and quite helpful in their recommendations for drinks if you've never tried anything. I've had the Green Giant and it's one of my favorites. They also have MUHC employee discounts (10% off) and loyalty cards that can be used for each purchase that isn't the drink of the month. I have to admit that it's quite pricey, but where else can you get such a large dose of greens and fruits in a smoothie? Don't be shy about asking for customizations either. For example you can ask for less ice in your drink or omit/add extra ingredients!

This is also the place where you can get your hands on fresh baked bread from Arhoma bakery or Maple Milk from Pied de Cochon. I was happy to see it still around on my most recent trip to Montreal. I discovered that it has actually been around since 1984! Wow. In addition to bulk foods they also sell packaged foods and have a great selection of imported chips. They had Bret's chips from France and Torres chips from Spain, both in lots of different flavours. I didn't purchase anything on my most recent visit, but I enjoyed looking around, although I forgot to check to see if they still had that salad seasoning I used to love so much, lol. I went in to look for a strawberry rhubarb marmalade for my mother in law and they did not have any....other flavors yes...but not the one I was looking for. The ladies working here were very helpful and nice. You can get olive oil, pastas, candies, imported goods, much stuff that can easily be used for gifts to people back home. Cute set up.
