Bless their hearts, they were near tears. But the sweetest young lady named Alexandra came right over and worked pure cowgirl magic. She talked to them so gentle and kind, got down on their level, and before I knew it, both of them were smiling and riding like little cowboys. After the rides, she even let the kids stay for a minute to give the ponies some hugs and say goodbye. It was the sweetest thing! The ponies themselves looked so well cared for! Every single one had food in their buckets. You can tell this girl absolutely loves her job! It's so heartwarming to see now days, so much evil in the world. Now, I do want to mention a thing, while the pony area was just wonderful, I did notice the farm animals looked really hot. It was a warm day, and bless their hearts, there didn't seem to be much shade for them. For such a long time, it made me a little sad to see them standing out in the sun like that. I grew up on a farm myself, so I know these are outdoor animals and they're used to being in the weather. But even then, they naturally have shade from trees or a barn to get under, and always plenty of fresh water close by. I just hope in the future they might add a few shaded areas or fans so those sweet animals can stay cool and comfortable too. A little while later, when we walked back around, my kids actually pointed out something that made me smile, the worker from earlier had brought a fan over to the pony that was standing out in the sun. Honestly, the business itself should take note and be more like her, thoughtful, attentive, and full of genuine love for those animals. It warmed my heart to see that kind of care, especially on such a hot day.

OMG! Such a beautiful hidden gem! If you are looking for the perfect venue with Southern Elegant…read moreCharm, this is for you! When we started looking a year ago for a venue for my son's wedding in 2023 (this year), we chose this venue because it was small, charming and very affordable- it was under a different name and ownership. In March of this year (2023) it was sold, and purchased by Southern Grace Event Center. Our wedding was not going to be until June and honestly I had no idea what to expect- from renovations to change in ownership. Let me say, on June 3rd, we could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for a wedding! The venue was BREATHTAKING. The changes and upgrades included an open chapel with beautiful architectural design, new bride and groom suites, a completely renovated indoor reception hall with exposed beams on the ceiling, new chandeliers and floor to ceiling stone fireplace, a covered patio w a fireplace and a passthrough window from the bar (we used this as a cigar bar patio) as well as stunning gardens that included a waterfall, blooming roses and hydrangeas. IT WAS AMAZING! And, the new owner John was a joy to work with--so delightful and accommodating. He honored everything in our original contract and more. It was such a lovely experience and an unforgettable, gorgeous wedding.
