Horrified!!!! This photo shoot was my 1st family shoot ever!…read moreI was a walk-in, I met Wendy, we agreed on a vintage door back round, a digital disc and possibly an album. She took my money made an appt. aand the rest was history... Until the day of the shoot! 1st the back drop was a chair, which was not what we discussed, but I was eager to get some "professional" pics. done in time for Xmas. All her equipment was old and broken, still we went ahead with the session. We are trusting people and assumed that she would do everything possible to give us what we asked for. Boy were we wrong. Three months later we finally decided to collect our pics. Except now she was completely denying the fact that she promised us a disc. To add insult to injury she called myself and my husband liars, she tried to intimidate and bully me as if I were a small child! Who knows what she was thinking calling herself a professional. Al we wanted was to remedy the problem except she was extremely combative, yelling and disrespectful to both my husband and I , claiming that " SHE NEVER PROMISED A DISC" Instead she expected us to pay $69.00 per 5x7 and 49.00 per 4x6? My issue with that was, she never discussed any pricing at all and I was not about to have the wool pulled over my eyes again. Anyway, I was horrified by her behavior, I could not believe that a so called professional woman was arguing with us and texting me with such disdain. To me that shows guilt, flat out! Unbelievable, not only did she waste our time and money, but the behavior of this woman was appalling, but the good news is that I will not let her get away with this. These pics were very important to me, but everything happens for a reason. I warn anyone who wants to work with her, get everything in writing and do not make the same mistake we did! Just don't use her at all. This woman no longer has passion for her work and it shows. I almost feel sorry for her, almost!! She has even admitted having confrontations just like ours so obviously she is her own problem. Never in my life have I been spoken to in such a hateful manor and all over her own inability to communicate properly with a customer. I could write much more, but I've let her steal enough of my serenity. It is a shame. Maybe she should go over prices and options before wasting peoples time, just saying?

This after I paid the full initial sitting fee and then a whopping $500 deposit (she asked for $1000, but I told her that was too much). When I protested how long it was taking, she would say she was busy with other things and just casually brush me aside. It was disappointing and painful to experience this unprofessional behavior.
