Owner Sunny is very nice. They have alot of selections. Will be coming back here. They were so friendly.

This is the best piano store in Los Angeles. I researched used pianos for months (Facebook marketplace, other buy/sell/trade outlets, thrift shops, etc). You will not find another business that sells such high quality products for a reasonable price. Not kidding--I am on a budget, and every thrift store I visited was selling pianos in terrible condition for 1,000+. Every piano in Hanmi is high quality, and they are extremely transparent with any wear and tear. I was helped by Sunny, who is lovely. I came in on a Friday to scope it out, returned on a Saturday to purchase, and received the most seemless delivery service on Sunday. I seriously kept wondering when the problem would arise: surely there must be hidden fees or some sort of damage for the piano to be so well priced? Nope, just a family business that takes customer service seriously. They've earned a lifelong customer with me! read more

I had an excellent experience with Hanmi piano. Sunny, the owner was communicative and knowledgeable throughout our piano buying process. She never tried to upsell me but was honest with what she thought was best for our family. After many conversations, we finally settled on one and she was able to make delivery the very next day. We are thrillled with our piano and look forward to working with Sunny & Hanmi when we upgrade. read more

Hanmi Piano - Yamaha CLP-735 and we LOVE IT! - Piano Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Amazing service and even better maintained pianos. I came by to look for pianos for my schools music program and was treated with unbelievable patience Daniel showed me around walking thru all the differences from acoustic to hybrid and digital. Because he gave me a complete understanding of each product he hooked me up with a good deal and honestly I've shopped many retailers but this was the cheapest. I see that it's a family business and they are willing to give what you ask. I hate to get pressured into sales and I never felt that here. Daniel and John were incredibly knowledgeable and I can't thank them enough. read more

My husband and I recently bought an upright piano from Hanmi. We were interested in a used Yamaha upright with a mahogany finish for our living room. The moment we walked into Hanmi we saw it. It sounded great. Not pristine like a new piano but had a ton of character. My husband plays a lot of rock, blues and country music and the piano sounds PERFECT for that. Sunny was really sweet and easy to work with. We love her! We felt really happy with the price we paid and she even included a free tuning with the piano. When our piano came home we noticed some buzzing, but the technician that Sunny sent to tune our piano was able to solve the issue. Not sure how. Magic maybe. The piano makes us so happy. In addition to being beautiful it brings my husband so much joy. He's even starting to play Beethoven! I would definitely recommend Hanmi if you're looking for a preowned Yamaha. My husband and I both love this store! read more

If I could give this even more stars, I would. I wanted a new digital Yamaha, because my previous one (which I bought from Amazon some years ago) had no dynamics and wasn't a full sized keyboard. I looked up closest Yamaha shops nearby, and Hanmi Piano was the one I decided on. And looking back, I'm so thankful I chose Hanmi. I had the best experience there, from the pianos offered and the kindness and helpfulness of the manager. I went there and the manager welcomed me inside, and asked me what I was looking for. I told her how I wanted to get a better digital piano than the one I owned previously, and what price range I was looking for, and she showed me all the pianos there in that price range and told me their specs and turned them on for me to play. She was very patient and kind, and eventually I chose the Yamaha P125. She asked me how I plan to get it to my place, and after I mentioned I didn't have a car, she offered to drive it and deliver it to my place personally, because it was sort of on the way back to her home from her store. It was raining that night too, and she still found my place and helped me carry the piano box up the stairs and into my room. She is incredibly kind and sweet, and the pianos she has there are amazing. I am in love with my P125. And the piano is new and has a year warranty with Yamaha as well. Choosing Hanmi Piano was the best possible choice I could have made, and I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a new piano! read more

Worse than a cliché used car sales person. I called to sell a Yamaha baby grand piano. After texting a few pictures to a woman there, she called me the next day. She asked how much I wanted, I told her I am not in the industry, and asked what would be a fair price. She said she didn't know how much she could offer, that she would have to consult her team. Why bother calling me then. She was truly unprofessional. This isn't some street vendor transaction, I'm not trying to haggle over a trinket. It was a ridiculous waste of time. I found a great store with locations in Sherman Oaks, Pasadena, and Santa Monica that was completely up front and made the sale so easy. read more

I dont write reviews for companies too much but wow what a great experience today. I walked into the LA store to meet with Daniel to inquire about a U1 and he walked me thru all the details of the items very patiently answering all my picky questions and is very good with recommending pianos if you know what you are looking for. Ive been to the garden grove location and met Julia there and reason I chose to purchase here was because of the way the representatives presented themselves. Thank you to Daniel Julia and Sunny read more

Great experience! Sunny was so helpful and their pianos are very reasonably priced (both used and new). I was able to get delivery within a few days and it was just such an easy process, I would highly recommend. Also, family owned, a big plus! read more

TLDR; the pianos are terribly maintained and covered in dust. The staff is rude and, from their interactions with other people, seem to be incredibly prejudiced and racist. IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS HERE, DO SO AT YOUR OWN PERIL. The disrespect to the instruments in this store is horrible. The pianos are all left open, they are dusty, and they look like they are being neglected. The workers are rude, and they are giving the Yamaha brand a bad name. If I walk in there ready to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a fine instrument, the least they could do is treat me with respect, and treat the instruments with respect. I have never encountered a more pathetic representation of Yamaha in any other city. If the owners read this, understand that you are besmirching the good name of a respected brand, and I will be writing to their corporate headquarters about your misuse of their company name in the commission of substandard service. Embarrassing, pathetic and dishonorable in every single way. read more

Great selection and Sunny was very helpful and gave me a great deal. Looking forward to learning with great piano purchase.

We probably visited a half dozen piano stores before we finally found Hanmi. Their pianos are well maintained and Sunny worked with us to find one that worked best for our family. We've now owned our used Yamaha for over a year and it gets played several times a day; people can hardly believe its age! Hanmi worked with us on adding a silencer feature, and very kindly allowed us to switch out the bench when it became clear the one we had taken was inhibiting the playing for our young kids. We're very happy, and have recommended this store to many friends. read more

Super helpful and nice. Bought a beautiful piano that was delivered well and tuned perfectly. Easiest process ever and they let my son try out so many to find the right one. read more

Sunny at Hanmi Piano was so helpful in helping us choose our new upright piano. She was patient, knowledgeable, and practical. She guided us through the selections and options, patiently waited for us to try them out, deliberate, and discuss. We dress casually and look young, so usually don't get any attention when we go to sales floors, but she was immediately welcoming. Would definitely recommend this location to our friends and family read more

After searching all day for a solid upright electric piano I found this store in KTown and found a pretty solid collection. I was helped by Sunny. She was very welcoming, very helpful and sweet! We couldn't fit the box in my car and I wanted to take it home right away so she helped me unbox the pieces and put it in my car. Would definitely recommend this store! read more

Hanmi Piano is a family owned business located in mid-Los Angeles. The manager, Sunny, and other sales folks I spoke with were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They have an excellent selection of pianos, new and used. I think this store is especially suitable for families who have children learning to play: a fine instrument always makes that easier, and sounds so much better! Thank you Hanmi Piano! read more

I got my Yamaha Arius piano here. I went by the store and tried out a couple pianos before making a decision. I was greeted by very good customer service both times, and Michelle was especially helpful while I was there! read more

Everyone I met at Hanmi was pleasant to work with. I purchased a P-255 and they had competitive pricing compared to Guitar Center! I initially bought a NU1 piano that was delivered with a busted speaker, so my faith in that product was tested. This wasn't Hanmi's fault, but rather Yamaha's. Ultimately, I decided to return it and get a different model. Hanmi understood the problem and was very apologetic for the inconvenience. Hanmi piano worked with me to get the NU1 piano returned, they helped me get out of the financing agreement and helped me in getting the P-255. Even when I returned the NU1 I had a lot of store credit (because it was a more expensive instrument), but they still worked with me to get me a competitive deal that would have been comparable at Guitar Center. Everyone was really nice, especially Alice who really helped to make sure I was satisfied once I returned the NU1 resolved the transaction. Just be sure you are aware of their return policy before you purchase. read more

After calling all around yesterday looking for a new electronic keyboard, Hanmi was the only distributer to call me back. I received excellent and friendly service, and the selection of keyboards and pianos was pretty incredible. Will definitely be returning again in the future! read more

If you're looking for a piano I urge you to shop here. Incredible selection and customer service. They were so helpful in helping me select a piano that I went in uncertain of what to buy, and within 20 minutes I left with the perfect piano for me (Yamaha Arius YDP 164). I had a slight issue with my digital piano, and Sunny (the owner) came to my apartment on her own time to help me fix it. Great people, great pianos. read more

We checked around several online stores and locally, and Hanmi provided the best price, service and quality. We bought a nice Yamaha hybrid acoustic-digital piano from them, delivered the next day. The store manager is Sunny. The sound and key-action are excellent. The kids and myself are so happy with the piano. Highly recommend this company, if you're looking to try out or purchase a piano. read more

I rent their piano for almost one year. The price was really good, and the person who working with me was very patient. I really enjoyed cooperating with Hanmi Piano these days! If you need a piano, I really recommend Hanmi Piano! read more

Awesome place to get a new yamaha. They delivered and installed it the very next day.

Made my purchase today! Hanmi had great, personal service. I came in to try out their digital pianos and ultimately decided to get one of the Clavinova models. I got to use thier headphones too, which helped with my decision a lot. read more

We just donated my husband's piano from his childhood that my girl used to play and came to Hanmi Piano to get a new digital baby grand piano for her, specifically Yamaha. Jade was the employee who helped us and showed us every digital piano option they could offer. She started with the very cheapest. Inside, I was surprised. Many salesman usually show the high price range first, She went through every option explained the difference. Not pushy at all but very thorough. They had the newest model grand digital piano we've been researching on. When we decided to purchase one, Jade and the assistant director both were offered a great price (way better than any online sites we've seen), then upgraded the bench (the digital ones come with a small one without any storage. When we asked for a bench with storage to place books, they nicely upgraded the bench), and no delivery/shipping charge, and complimentary assemble upon delivery! She even reminded me to double check the model number to make sure it's the latest model. So professional yet sweet. We walked away felt so good about the purchase. Definitely get your piano here. read more

If you're trying to buy an acoustic grand piano, forget it. They're dressed up on the outside, and beat up on the inside, here. The salesmen have no patience, and, like the other negative reviews, here, I suspect, this one will be hidden/erased. The 'salesman', blocked the pianos, at first. Then, when I asked to play one, he was reluctant. Then, unbeknowndst, to me, he led me to a used Yamaha grand. The keys stuck, and tones did not play on every key. It's clear that this guy collects pianos that 'musicians' beat up and banged on, then he paints them over, makes them look good, and then has the audacity to try and sell them. I don't know if the majority of customers, coming here to purchase an acoustic piano are musicians or just people that want a piece of furniture, that happens to be a piano, but I guess he's been getting away with much. read more

If you're a piano buyer, go here. It's the best in town. Ask for James store manager . He's best customer service and knowledgeable.
