I talked to JIM in the pro shop after and he told me The price is great, on a Saturday we paid $30 for 18 with a cart, I booked a tee time for this Wednesday for $25 with a cart. They have a sale on ladies golf wear and I ended up buying a shirt and a vest, total price $35. Jim in the pro shop was a super nice guy and a good salesmen, I didn't go in the shop intending to buy anything but he told me the stuff was on sale. If you haven't got this course definitely give it a try!

Last time out there, to take advantage of an end of season special rate, my partner and I were told we could not get on, no reservation. Then we were told we could get on in 50 minutes so we paid and went to putt. Then Ron came out and said the front 9 was closed. No one on the tee for at least 15 minutes and an not much activity anywhere. By the time our tee time was five minutes away 6 carts were waiting at the tee. By the way with only one nine open when you make the turn you will probably be behind all those trying to start their rounds. One step we got stuck on, probably from us pressing buttons too fast or something, so Allison had to play the audio over the speaker. There was one other object we had some issues with because we didn't rotate it enough before setting the correct locations for the item. She actually had to pause the time and come check it out to see why we weren't getting the next step unlocked. We had just enough time to stop the train! Overall, great room, great use of group work at times. We found it helpful to have a cell phone note app open to make a list of items at times, otherwise you're definitely yelling from room to room for multiple steps. Terrible experience at Brighton Escape Room. If you exceed the grace period they will start your game timer. That's fair but not even the case in this situation. Instead our host decided that she would assert her authority as an escape room nazi. Less than one minute in we were scolded for not paying attention to the video. It is apparently against their rules to look around the room and god forbid, don't touch anything before that video ends! That wasn't my experience the last 3 times at this location, but okay we just laughed it off. Later my daughter was yelled at for picking up candles. "Don't touch the candles, they are not part of the game!" Oh, no, someone vaped. Another scolding. This is going to be a long 45 minutes. When we asked for the first clue the response was, "You are not there yet." We had to ask again for some sort of guidance, please. Pretty please? I did not pay $170 to be yelled at and beg for clues. They ended the game with 1:30 left on the timer. We let ourselves out. When I asked the lady at the desk to please tell me the name of the host, I was immediately met with confrontation. "Is this about the vaping?" No, I respect that, this is about the host's poor attitude and complete lack of customer service. She still refused to give her name -actually said it's confidential but a good host introduces themselves to their guests, right? Now I'm told her rude behavior was justified because we started the game before watching the video when we were specifically told not to! I'm a bit taken aback by this response. Not only were my concerns completely dismissed but now I am being scolded again! By this time I've gone from annoyed to irritated. Top finance professionals from around the globe flew in to honor her. Cocktails and hand passed hors d'oeuvres in the reception area. We had the U-M fanfare band surprise her and the guests by coming up the back elevator and sneaking in the dining room to call everyone in to the dining room ahead of dinner. The tables were beautiful. Floor length table cloths, navy napkins. We decorated the tables and ordered centerpieces to kick it up. There were 9 toasts/roasts with videos that were queued by the coordinator that was on sight the whole time. Video screens and TVs were everywhere so all 150 guests didn't miss a thing. The food was served right on schedule and excellent. Flank steak, veggie pasta or salmon. The only thing missed was coffee service w dessert. After the fantastic bar, I'm sure a few would have loved some coffee. Oh well. Off to the after party.
