I came to Axe Play for the first time yesterday to attend my first WATL Marathon Event since moving…read moreto Michigan and I've gotta say, what a WONDERFUL experience! The owner and staff were all wonderful and super on top of things, having guests play actual WATL style games which is so much more fun than the normal blackjack style games I usually see venues push. The venue was beautiful and spacious, offering I believe 6 different ranges, 12 lanes total. The venue was clearly well maintained and both the community and the employees made it an even better time than usual, moving things quickly. I love that they even ordered us lunch and allowed us a break, as someone who has to fully stop to eat, that was a huge perk for me. This venue also offers snacks, a mocktail menu, and a full bar- liquor, wine, and beer! That's pretty impressive as I've yet to experience an axe venue that offered liquor before yesterday. Overall, would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone looking to throw for their first time or for seasoned throwers like myself. Had an amazing time and hope to come back some day if I'm local!

You couldn't ask for sweeter people, and their passion shows in every room! I've now done two EpIQ…read morerooms as well as dozens of rooms at other places. EpIQ's puzzles are consistently high quality and unique. My group literally gasped aloud about how cool some of the puzzles in the shipwrecked room are, and that's an entry-level room (and we're jaded pros at this point). I never felt like we could have guessed our way through even the easiest puzzles, but I didn't feel like they were unreasonably difficult either. Have I mentioned the rooms are BEAUTIFUL? EpIQ doesn't have the advantage of a cool old building, and at their old location, they didn't even had a lot of space. Yet once the door closes and your time starts, you truly do feel transported. I'm still thinking about some of the elements in the (now discontinued) fortune teller room over a year later. We're going back to do their CSI room before it closes at the end of the year, and we'll be eagerly awaiting their next room. I strongly recommend EpIQ Escapes to anyone interested in escape rooms.

What a disappointment that this campground does not support the rights of the LGBTQ community!…read more Before camping there with my wife of 20 years and our 10 year old son, I thought I'd reach out to the Director to make sure it would be a safe community for us. I just spoke with the head Pastor, and my family is "welcomed to use the facilities," but they do not support my civil marriage rights. I wonder how he would explain that to our 10 year old child, and how such a stance would prevent him from accessing health care within our family? How upsetting! I encourage everyone camping there to use your privilege and please consider raising this issue. Very unfortunate!
